    Thanks Mr. Whitehurst for taking the time to answer our questions! Personally I'd like to see Red Hat or Canonical make a push to switching Government, Health Care and School systems over to something besides Windows.

  2. I get along just fine without a Phone. I can see myself going without a Phone for at least 5-10 more years. What is gradually creeping up on me is USB powered devices. Soon I'll be required to change a Power Outlet to one that includes an outlet for USB -- or get an adapter.

    As the time-line progresses, eventually we will all be forced to adapt to the Tech.

    There is a Car Lot in my town where if you miss a payment, they disable the vehicle. This sort of thing isn't new and while it may be embarrassing, so is not paying the Bills you agreed to pay.

    Why don't you like Audacious? It's a fork of Beep which is a fork of XMMS. It has it's own UI and a Winamp Skin, It's the only player I like. Let's not forget that VLC plays Audio too! =p

  8. That is false sir. There is a Ryzen bug but it only effects HIGH workloads, something average users don't do. The Bug is being investigated and will be repaired. FYI.

  9. This is normal. During and after the Holidays, the so-called discounts are actually higher than on regular days. I live by the rule: Never buy discounted Items.

  17. My small town ISP has charged the same price since the late 90's and when the speed got faster they 'upgraded' us for free. No data caps and no price hikes. They seem to behave themselves considering there is no competition in this area. =)

    Trump already has a Moth named after him called "Neopalpa donaldtrumpi". It has yellow-white "scales" on top of it's head which prompted the naming. =)

    Yeah I have no idea what this guy is talking about, I have DirecTV and even if I miss a show I can go back like 72 hours to record it. If I want to record a Series I just type a few words into the Search box and when I see it I hit Record on my Remote two times (many ways to do it) and it always records every Episode without my intervention. The problems he describes seem to be related to Streaming.

    In most cities there are laws as to the amount of noise emitted and times of day it's emitted. In the end you'll probably have to sell that tricked out Civic to pay for your legal battle that you will undoubtedly lose.

    Not really. If it looks well written, it's probably fake. The ones with spelling errors that are about two sentences long and are buried under the "See all customer reviews" are usually the ones you want. =p
