As far mileage, we have seen tech were cars can go 300-400 miles on a single charge, but electric cars are 125 miles at best and still take half-hour at best, and that's assuming that there's top-of-theline electric station around, which is very few and in between. The oil industry won't let go of exec's tits until there's a realization that their other alternatives and stop the greediness...
To me it's very disturbing that you have to require a Internet connection just to enable features such the Blu-ray player on the console. It SHOULD have it feature already in the box. What if a kid who wants this console don't have Internet in their home. Believe it or not, there are some families who do NOT have Internet because it's not worth the money to invest what their getting out of the connection.

They may benefit, but the consumer suffers the most since we have no choice but to choose a provider in one or two different companies, and many often times in especially rural areas it's just one provider for cable/internet. If we had more companies that sold cable and Internet, we wouldn't be seeing the problem of ridiculous prices for these services...
Probably the reason they don't want fingerprint scanners is that its too easy for officials to get a clean print when the commit a crime or felony. I'm sure that the scanners are somehow tied in the law enforcement system...

In Germany, I understand that they go to school all year long, they do get vacations three times a year, so it's not like they're dogging those kids outright, and they have some of the best scores in all of Europe, if not ranking pretty good in the world. I'll put to you another way: If you can afford private school, then do it and be happy about it. If you can't afford it, tough shit. Either you do home schooling if you can deal with the stress of it, or suck it up and grow a pair and send your kids to public school. To me those kids learn more in the real world than they ever would in a private school. Public school has it's issues, no doubt about that, but they will learn how to real world works and deal with personal issues as they get older and more experience how to handle it. Those kids will be more responsible to others and to their selves in the long run...

Talk about bad luck at the border, especially since your family all got sick from food poisoning is a lesson learned for them. In the end, your family got the last laugh when they mocked you.
