Well the problem with these things, is that the ill effects take so long to materialize, that by now we've all consumed enough of them to potentially suffer. How would you separate the pre-ban, to post-ban effects?
well, it wouldn't mr. other random guy on the internet; see obese mothers tend to have heavier babies. If a fetus is being marinated in insulin, there's a good chance that baby will grow up to be obese. Please try to contradict that.
I'd also have to counter, the rise in obesity tracks very, very, very well to the rise in carbohydrate consumption.
Seriously dude, one of the major plot devices turns around 'choosing' some poor girl, and subjecting her to a life of servitude.. playing through I felt physically ill due to the obvious parallels to a slave auction.
New Vegas was fantastic btw. In particular the desert landscape just seems to lend itself more to a post apocalyptic vibe than DC. (insert snarky joke about fallout 3 improving DC over it's current state.).
It just seemed to be written at an higher quality, especially in the humor department.
Having been on the other end of that phone at varying times in my life (ranging from consumer tech support, to enterprise support) i try to be as patient and compliant as possible -- though if they are leading me on a goose chase I'll try to be subtle and point them in the proper direction.
Because face it, most people are assholes; especially when something they are paying for, isn't working.
They have to deal with assholes 8+ hours a day, every day, for a really shit wage. I can play nice for an hour or so on phone. =(
well if they were truly progressive, inclusive, and wanted to foster a sense of diversity it would have been an arabian or some other under-represented breed of horse.
This is seriously just a proof of concept/training exercise so that NASA can get experience managing the terraforming bots on Mars in the future. Operation "Starling" is what the FOIA requests would turn up. True Story.
i miss scamming the fuck out of alladvantage in the late 90's. Yes of course I had 55 of those tool bars open, and yes i certainly did click on the ads.
yeah it's bogus, i mean if there were any merit to that line of thought, you would have seen something absurd like MS bailing out Apple when they were in dire straights.
maybe because there are some problems that are not clearly defined, intractable, and require a more genetic, trial and error type approach to solving? A million people seeking their own best interest will probably have a better outcome than a hive mind.
Not to mention the potential for premature optimization on a species wide basis?
step 1: build company that launches sats. step 2: build another company that requires launch capability to be cost effective (give it time.) step 3: build another company that can generate revenue off of capabilities of 1 and 2 -- repeat
Building your own vertical integration; even if all this basically requires government handouts/subsidies -- i'd argue he's doing far more with them than most companies and contractors do.
It's not. it's what, 55% fructose, 45% sucrose -- whereas table sugar is a 50/50 split?

Also : "we still used phones, as phones"
given their revenue, i'm sure quite a few companies would love to be half as obsolete as MS.
so how do you make fun of extremist SJW's without running the risk of giving them ammunition? :(
Hah. Harvest Moon. Aka, "Patriarchy, the RPG"

This must be the first time the phrase "seemed cool" has been used in reference to Magic the Gathering. :)

fucking racist video game horses. My god, this day in age we still have to deal with Minstrel Shows?
as someone who had a Palm Pre, and really liked webOS, I can understand that point of view =/
I'll still take a physical keyboard over an onscreen one any day of the week.
Thanks man, you saved me some legwork.

well you can download tracks for offline listening (i do this on my cell phone for conserving bandwidth)
You can also use audacity to make mp3's out of what you're listening to. But I somehow doubt spotify would approve of that use case.

Many of them choose to be mothers, even longer hours, and zero pay.
When it comes down to it, a PHB is not much different than squalling newborn -- the way I see it, there should be more women in development.
dammit, saw your post, right after I hit 'submit' :( blerg.
What was your opinion of Brendan Eich getting sacked due to his political affiliation/donation record?
Fine, then a cheeseburger.
