Everyone seems to be complaining about art or the nature of art. Jeez. Doesn't anyone know the algorithm? Only algorithms are true art. That and the Mac Mini.
To be honest, I will probably switch to a ComCast box when they bring the dual-tuner models out.
But I don't think that the boxes are either as easy to use or as powerful as Tivo. For instance, I missed a program (Gormengast) a few months ago that I decided that I should watch. But it wasn't on again. So I told my Tivo to capture anything named Gormengast and forgot about it. Months later, it was repeated, and presto, it appeared without effort. I'm also taping any program with several actors or by certain writers.
And stuff like that. I don't think the ComCast boxes are as powerful. I don't know what the poster above is talking about as far as reliability problems go. The only defect in the service is that their program guide doesn't always have timely info on programs, so for instance it will ocassionally tape South Park repeats several times since it doesn't know that they are the same ones or not new. But that's minor.
You are far from alone... S5 was awful. The first half with the telepaths/hairstylers was worse than awful. The second half, while it had a few moments, seemed very forced. All of JMS's bad habits (dialog, exposition, pacing) came back out. (Andreas and Peter were their usual bright spots, of course, that saved a few shows. ) The stories were bad and repetitive. Many plot devices. I mean, having a whole crisis predicated on Garibaldi drinking and missing a message? Hell, if I want to monitor something important, I can have my computer page me and a hundred backups. But I digress. Don't get me started. And why couldn't he just *ask* someone else to take out Bester. I said DON"T GET ME STARTED!
And the movies were all poor. The best one was In The Beginning, and that was just a retread! JMS was clearly burnt out, and he totally lost the show's chemistry by not holding on to Claudia Christian. Chemistry is a delicate thing.
On the other hand, I've watched Crusade in repeats, and I think it had more potential than people gave it credit for at the time. It's too bad it was cancelled.
I will never buy from them again. Don't be fooled. Always a lot of bugs, and they don't support their products. They like to claim that 'it's Windows fault' that they didn't debug their drivers. Go with NetGear or LinkSys when they have the same thing shortly.
Considering that they 'found' the copyright transfers in the back of a filing cabinet (marked "Beware of the Tiger"), they might not want to start to question agreement amendments.
They don't have a monopoly. They just have the best games. I used to play bridge on Yahoo which has a fair game with no history and quite a few obnoxious users. The Zone, which I succumbed to (I boycotted for years when they dropped Netscape support) just a short while ago, has a much superior bridge game with cool duplicate scoring, and better, nicer players to boot. Now I have a (bogus) account with.NET because I like it too much to give up. And they have another user to count towards their system, which will continue to snowball into a monster. Damn them for producing quality!
Despite all of the problems, the basic business concept was sound. They should have been able to make it work. It was the financing and execution that made it turn to poo.

Why isn't there an Open Source art detector?

I thought it was just the Penguins on top that exploded?
IBM? Are you thinking of the Apple II?
BidiBidiBidi That's right, Buck!

If it doesn't have Claudia Christian, I'm not gonna see it.
Is there a GIMP driver for the Lexmark X75?

Because, ya know, otherwise we might have missed it...
"In case you couldn't tell, I was being sarcastic."
"Well, duh!"
This is the LE edition, updated for Maya 5. Severely restricted and stripped. There's been an LE edition for over a year.

She was talking about her Androgum role, not Servalan!
Two alternative explanations: ...Gunshots...Servalan/Sleer saunters in...
"How could you all miss?"
(resumes bicycle tour)
or
Soldiers gather in circle around Avon, aim laser rifles, Avon ducks, soldiers in circle all shoot each other...
(resumes bicycle tour)
Does this idiot really think that anyone will watch the finale based upon this media 'plant'?
I hope that this means that the series is in real danger of cancellation, but UPN seemes determined to press on.
Why do morons have so much power?
