it's been reported to the fbi already, and it seems others on slashdot have seen it. and people who have called the fbi have been informed they are well aware of it.
Thefirst question is whether they use binary, or if they have discovered something superior. if binary we can have a sort of basic understanding, but we still woulkdn't under stand the encoding. But if we use lzip the world will be saved.

that doesn;t include the recently released PSO. There hasn't been this good of a crop of games in one year since the heyday of the SNES.
crazy taxi 2, jet grind radio 2, sonic adventure 2, shenmue 2, nba2k2, nfl2k2, nhl2k2, 18 wheeler. I think sega's focus on the arcade over the last few years has solidly increased their level at game design, these will be some of the most fun games ever made.
Sega's problem has always been with their hardware, their games were often nearly infallible, but their hardware was substandard. Sega should be able to jump into the game as a 3rd party title and be at the level of the capcoms/konamis/activisions instantly.
Now we just need hardware that ISN'T the PS2 to run it on.
"Sega games would look great on Xbox, but it's absolutely untrue that Xbox will contain Dreamcast hardware," Microsoft's spokesperson told Daily Radar
notice the use of the word hardware, keeps a faint hope alive for software emulation. dreamcast does utilize windows ce. If nothing else dc games will be somewhat easy to port to the x-box.
They'll probably just find a way to make dreamcast bootable dvds, users were able to pirate dc games onto cd-rom, what makes you think sega/microsoft can't do the same?
reading these comments it seems there are a good number of programmers who agree with the original poster. That if i create a networking protocol and don't care about getting code for a chess game, I just care about networking code. Why can't we create a new license under which I could release my code. It would basically say you can use my code only if you release the additions and modification to my networking code, but you do not have to open source the entire application which make suse of this code. GPL can still exist but so can this new license.
If this is already similar to the other two licenses mentioned here than just ignore me, I'm sorta new to the whole opensource world, but it seems the bsd and lgpl have slightly different intents.

rsa is not np-complete, it relies on factoring which is not know (or believed to be np-complete) My professor, the A in RSA, told us this himself.

My problem is all that listing info, I get with my digital cable subscription, why should i go pay an extra 10$ a month for redundant info?
the only thing is, it takes big bucks to get a booth at E3, even in one of the smaller press rooms.

For some reason this makes me think of the product in the movie strange days. I know IT isn't any type of VR... but who knows
