Just think--DA's around the country are always looking to increase their conviction rates, so they start mining data and looking for trends. The next thing you know, there are new laws on the books restricting freedoms, including

    • petty vices
    • how you dress (think hijab)
    • where you shop
    • what you wrote in your blog
    • what you think
    • who you associate with professionally and personally
    • who you voted for last election

    Each of these areas has been encroached upon by our new Socialist-Bush government.

    I for one, DO NOT welcome our new socialist overlords!

    You obviously never used one of the Acer Ferrari's. Aside from the bling factor, the one I had 2 years ago was wicked fast, and had a cooling fan powerful enough to suck a piece of paper into the intake manifold, which nearly caused the system to meltdown and burned up a hard drive over a weekend.

    Critical systems are firewalled off or completely isolated. Some of the systems on our contract got hacked. Some of the targeted NASA systems that are publicly accessible house engineering drawings and such that must be available to a variety of people and places. Incidently, most of the hacked systems were running Windows.

    small pool of engineers -- you could probably even find people do do it on a non-paid volunteer basis

    And not only that, but since many patent reviewers are overworked and obviously underqualified in certain disciplines, a neutral patent review board should be setup by the plethora of companies submitting them. Delegates would be assigned based on qualifications and discipline. It would then be like Congress--no obvious patents granted.
