I don't know about specific games, but using a computer in general can change a person. Like the time my roomate walked in and said something to me, and I was disappointed when the top left corner of my monitor stopped the mouse cursor from flying off the screen into his eye, blinding him for spiting me with his comments.
It's user feedback day at ablabla.org so why don't you goofballs, who happen to be users of ablabla since you're slashdot (L)users, come along and let us know what you think.
A genuine mirror of the article (albeit on a site that hates slashdot) gets modded down to -1 informative, while the wholly offtopic comment about raping nytimes for trying to find out who's subscribing gets modded up to +5 informative. I say this IS informative. About Slashdot in general.
EULA's are ridiculously obtuse indeed. Recent examples: the microsoft EULA that rendered MS the right to modify the user's software in any way they saw fit. That and all my software, which grants me power of attorney in the 4578th paragraph.
He may be "riding out the storm" but he's just helping another one along. Why did the dotcom crash happen here? Well, I'm sure the economists could give me all sorts of answers, but the simple facts are that innovative solutions and products are not always good products to profit off of. No one really needs a "mobile computing solution" we might need a cellphone that can message or get email, but for all our other needs, all one really needs is a desktop, or a laptop. All these portable devices are wonderful toys, but they don't provide services that persons desperately need or want. They won't sell profitably. Period.
Even with your simpsons references you shall never be cool or accepted! And this story is something for WIRED to fill up their crappy pages with, not something I actually want to leran.
Does anyone else think it is a perversion of the purpose of slashdot (that being to provide news and stories nerds will care about) for JohnKatz to try and pimp his book to us, the guaranteed massive readership of the site? Is this not an abuse of power on par with a newscaster interrupting a story about the middle east to remind us how he has decided to sell us his latest book of total drivel?
Fie JohnKatz. You have offended my honor, and I challenge you to a duel.
Well, this is about as useful as my flying toaster!
Seriously though, i wonder about what happens when the sign gets babelfished and you end up eating dog testicles instead of the "beefy camel tips" you thought you ordered.
please note: this is not a case of harassing customers to pay us more because we made a mistake. This is a case of trying to keep customers from unfairly taking advantage of a mistake the company has made.
Also, note that there are limits to the uses you can put a product to. For instance, while it is perfectly legal to sleep in the bed of a hotel room you rent, it is not in your contract with the hotel that you can make a copy of your key and sleep there whenever you want free of charge, even if it is possible. It isn't Apple's job to make it impossible to do things you shouldn't, it is the job of the LAW to prevent you from doing them. No court of law would allow you to sleep in the hotel room under the argument that it was too easy for you to take advantage of the company.
Freedom of speech is the guarantee to criticise the government and share ones opinion. It isn't the ability to explain how to injure a company or individual.

Yeah, every time I post a link to my website in a troll I get lots of hits. So I'm going to keep doing it until no one comes to my site.

Is it just me or are the specs onf the sight != to the specs in the post?
Aside from that, it looks like we have another good option for those of us who want to do tons of different things with our video card/computer setup.

Just because you can post on slashdot doesn't mean you can magically spout nonsense and pass it off as fact.
Nor does it free you from such mundane tasks as proofreading.
