I'd say that number is more than 85%, in varying intensities, not because some web site/paper says so, because I have met a lot of them.
As for treatment, I dont think there is, because you dont want to or can't be a consumer you're ill? There is no place for non-consumers in this society, so what can you do?
A reason for the lack of motivation can come from not wanting to be in society. The easiest way to get out of it is to drop out, and since it doesnt seem easy to get to or live anywhere else, you stay dropped out.

They dont write the viruses, they just support a platform that makes it easy for them to proliferate...
I really do. But every time I think of all of the possibilities of an open hand held computing platform, I almost cry when I actually look at whats being done right now, and in the near future.
Another proprietary portable operating system... How long have they been getting to where this stuff is actually usable for more than one or two special applications? Then they release something that does video... WOW... when it should have been possible years ago...
You better know those things, becuase bosses aren't about to "just take your word for it" they demand facts, figures, and spreadsheets for proof--and if anything goes wrong it's your ass.
Sure, and the same facts and figures that they followed initially came from people with vested interests, and it was called "marketing". Just take the idea and wrap it in something shiney, put twenty inch rims on it, and they will all dive for it.. its called PHB food.

I dont know anything about the matrix. At least, not anything that can be described in words.

Yea, I wouldnt expect the true nature of reality to be all that simple, at least to humans, so how is this guy qualified to judge how much ""information"" is in the sequal? Of course, I dont see information on how he viewed the first Matrix..
Anyway, I also noted that the three matrix release dates, including the planned Revolutions date, all coincide with full moons or a couple days off.. sounds pretty unusual. Im sure they planned it.. buy why?
So thats why animals lives are so much harder. Their brains have the additional load of rendering their fur, making it hard to concentrate on anything complicated.
I dont know nothin either, all I know is if a program is running on my computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, I'd really like to have some insight as to what its doing.
yea we got to watch it on imax at the chabot observatory, and from the beggining there would be these slight glitches and pops with the sound stopping for a bit. but after about a half an hour, the sound totally stopped, and several minutes later (i really wonder what they were doing) the screen flashes and you see a 60 foot picture of windows nt with wintv running . ..
so he had to close the program and run it again. program works fine for a while . . . then the distortion comes back, eventually he had to restart it again (but thankfully, for them, not the computer).
looks like wintv has a memory leak somewhere. or maybe windows. who knows . ..
the funny part though is that someone from the back yelled several times 'use a mac!'. the unfortunate part is that i didnt know that freebsd 5.0 had been released, or i would have shouted him out with joy . . .
If the value of open source is the fact that you can see the code and know what its doing, will anyone who audits the windows code actually want to use it, knowing that (most likely) full compatibility and better coding (based on windows system behavior) is offered in free software?

Can I Personally slay the dark skins because they dont believe in my one god!?!??
Will I refute all other world religions because I HAVE THE ANSWER??
YES! I've been waiting for an opportunity like this!!
I really do.

I wouldnt call a Celeron based system "crappy" ...
...
I've run all types of servers off of lesser machines for small networks.
And as far as applications go, If X11 works then anything that runs on your other machines can run there
Thats nice, I really like it. ...
However I'd like to point out that Linux isnt
the only operating system distributed with the source
