Scotty: Do ye mind a little advice? Starfleet captains are like children. They want everything right now, and they want it their way. But the secret is to give only what they need, not what they want!
LaForge: Yeah, well I told the captain I'd have this analysis done in an hour.
Scotty: And how long would it really take?
LaForge: An hour!
Scotty: Oh, ye didn't tell him how long it would really take, did ye?
LaForge: Well, of course I did.
Scotty: Oh, laddie, ye've got a lot to learn if ye want people to think of ye as a miracle worker!
As obnoxious as most cell networks are about ringtones I predict 'special' 'vendor requested' firmware versions to force you to have to pay them for anything you can use as a ringtone. Verizon is a good example, they had nokia hack up the pc cuite so that your verison phone wont use non verizon sanctioned (paid for) ring tones.
I would think that there could be a slight chance of mutation after birth due to a virus. Of course even that would only seem likely in a male, since sperm are constantly produced whereas the female is born with her eggs already in place. Also I wonder at the odds that a virus borne mutation would make significant changes to an existing organism and be passed on to any offspring. Interesting to consider nonetheless.
Also the 80188 was an available variant of the 80186, which was used in a few (very few) desktop machines.

This is not about 'open source' nor is it about DRM. It is about wholesale violation of a person or organizations copyrights. Whether you are Microsoft or gnu.org respect for copyright laws is central to your business model so to speak. Taking ideas from another site is one thing, stealing the whole thing without permission is copyrigth violation.
What made x86 widespread was 1. IBM chose the 8088/8086 cpu for the original IBM PC, and 2. the later series of intel cpus maintained compatibility with the 8088/8086. In fact the 80186 was not quite so compatible as later 80x86 cpus, and as such wasnt used in many PC type machines. I only remember them being used in networking boards and the Tandy 2000.
Some graffiti 'artists' produce very nice work, some produce eyesores. Anyone who places either on property that they dont have permission to do so on is a vandal regardless.
Without fail everyone I have ever seen driving around with a tv in the front has been in one of the new 'tank-esque' SUVS. When they wreck this 9000 pound monster do you think they are going to be the one being killed? Do you think they should make drinking in cars legal? Hell just print current drinking and driving stats on every beercan and let them choose eh?
Then why the hell don't you go start a fund drive for one of your more 'worthy' projects? Obviously the people who started this, along with the people who have donated wan't it, they are under no obligation to spend their money in whatever way you see fit.
of cpu/cpu usage do you have? It chokes pretty badly on my B/W G3-400.
So shoot the TV already.
I think that any guy who would buy a computer based on the appearance alone is more likely to have a BOYFRIEND in their future.
If you don't spend time and effort getting rid of spam it willeventually clog up your mailbox. Left alone this crap will wash away with the next rain.
I agree that this kind of crap is tacky, but the point is that there is no permanence to it and no property has been damaged.
Would the guy have been arrested if his message was pro Bush? What if it was a right wing christian message? Pro or Anti abortion?
Sounds like the Scotty symdrome.

since my squid proxy with adzap cleans the page out. I see a blank page with a click to continue link.
people here are drooling over the future prospect of the Cherry 2000.

a big chamber with 1000 ping pong balls in it. These of course correspond to the top 1000 linux using companies in the US. Woohoo.
Most of the rental stores I have seen end up selling off the older rental dvds. The local blockbuster has several racks of 'pre-viewed' ones for sale.
I would assume that if there was an issue here that blockbuster would be a big enough target that the MPAA would have stopped it long ago.
the next big worm will launch a DDOS against the BBC!
Oh come on. I knew a guy that had a whole collection of Traci Lords stuff on beta. If that isn't porn then what is?

Sounds like a good deal to me, then canada would have to take dubya as one of their own.
Thats funny, my old amiga disks were 880k not 720k.
It's nice to see that you know your name, but why do you place it in parenthesis?
