Personally, I like having a middleman shield my credit card information from the seller,
Except in Australia there are other more preferred methods for transactions that don't require credit cards or paypal.
Number one is bank direct deposit, which doesn't involve any extra parties (though the buyer may have to pay their own bank a few for the transaction)
Number two is a Money Order with a flat fee of $4.00, but limited to $1000 total value
Now considering that using a paypal account requires the bank account that can be used in option one, and will also attract fees and charges, why would you even bother with the extra hassle of paypal.
You know, read the labels on the devices and such?
If they have a decent power distribution board they can get an instantaneous readout from that.
Targeting one industry for it's power usage is a bit dumb. For instance I work in a fairly normal sized supermarket which pulls 415Vx3 at around 400A on each, so how many supermarkets are there around the world?
And if you want worse, here in Australia and other countries with large mining operations, the mines and other associated industries can pull the entire output from an average sized power station just for their own operations at a single site.
Unless the computer hardware is 110V only it should be able to accept almost any input from 90V to 300V AC or even DC.
Modern switch mode power supplies are rather versatile, just not the ones that still have a voltage selector switch (flick it if you dare)
For example here in Australia on 240V we lost a phase on the 11KV line to the local neighborhood transformer, the resulting output was around 110V per phase. The computers didn't blink but the fridge stopped working and our server on a UPS ended up without power due to the UPS been unable to cope with the situation.
I have in mind the upheaval in semiconductors wherein we went from discussing 0.13um to 130nm.
Whoever used 0.13um was wrong.
Having lived in a metric only world making this distinction is rather simple for me but I can see how someone who is used to having the smallest distance unit the "Inch" make such a simple mistake.
In metric you never have 0.x of anything you always change the prefix to move the decimal point to the right.
What I would like to know is why no one ever goes larger than KM when dealing in large distances, eg space exploration, perhaps the US dominance in this field is to blame for that.
You must of missed the memo or the previous post in this story.

You haven't seen the makeup of the Australian Federal Parliament recently have you, or the infighting and factional problems that the ALP is having.
Then my buddy (who worked for the DOT/FAA at the time) pointed out that the majority of airline crashes were caused by human error during takeoff and landing (the only point where computers aren't flying the plane prior to the newer jets).
Nice ommision on his part about how great that new Airbus was when it went on it's maiden flight
Maybe you should travel in Queensland and get out of NSW/VIC for a bit and you will soon learn otherwise.
Queensland is nigh on impossible for you to be out of sight of someones house over nearly half of the state, whereas if you travel in VIC & NSW the population is more centralised into small towns and cities with very little in between.
Take ST:VOY for example, the last episode finally aired on 9 last month, you could buy/rent the tape in Australia quite a few years ago and TV execs wonder why no one watches their networks anymore
There is no need to take your wallet, most mobile phones have cameras in them that could be used to get a photo of your face.
1. Walk into cafe looking for a target
2. Photograph the target's face
3. Steal the targets laptop
4. Profit
Now that no major manufacturer is producing new media,
This is certainly not the case on a global scale.
It seems that the US centric view is striking again as the only news article I could find on VHS production closure was for a Sony plant in France.
Not to mention that the article in question doesn't even mention a manufacturer, it's talking about a distributor.
There are too many deletion-happy admins at Wikipedia speedy deleting way too many pages that people have put a lot of effort into.
One only needs look at the article in question here to see how bad it is.

So 60 seconds is all it took, and from the users page :- Hey, I am male High School student. I am quite definitely a geek. I have terrible spelling.
So some nerdy high school kid is allowed to nominate articles for deletion within seconds of them been created.
You think the US is been hypocritical?
Try the Australian government :- http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/NSG_in_bag_India_seeks_uranium_from_Australia/articleshow/3456549.cms

Old fashioned and impractical in certain circumstances.

The ALP has been out of power for a decade now.
FYI current makeup
Liberal 73
National 11
ALP 60
Other 4
You have no idea how ignorant that sounds. Please leave trial law to the lawyers. Watching CSI does not make you a legal expert.
And what does CSI have to do with law or lawers?
Perhaps if you mentioned Law & Order instead you wouldn't now look like a fool.

Google Airbus320_trees.mpg
And the TOS doc of course forbids warezing, or "overuse" of the alleged "unlimited" account
Actually it specificaly states that excesive usage is not a breach.
As an added bonus if they tried this in Australia the clerk would be charged with defacing currency (yes it's a crime here).

80GB with 8Mb data rates, you are kidding of course.
Here we do 40-50GB with only 512Kb ADSL in a reginal area of Queensland for only $79.95.
I would expect at least 200GB allowance with such a large pipe.
Perhaps if you upgraded to a real version of windows instead of that 16bit hack that runs on DOS you might not have that problem
