Sega did not "clearly" plan anything. They added the second processor for 3D after they saw the Playstation's abilities. And that is entirely the point anyway. He said revolutionary. There was nothing revolutionary about it. So they could port a cut down version of virtua fighter....like they didn't port most other games to previous consoles? Revolutionary means doing something others can't. The Saturn was made to compete with the 3DO. They didn't consider making it better until they saw the Playstation's abilities and that was too little too late. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Saturn but it was not revolutionary. Don't believe me?
Saturn was not "next generation". They intended the machine to be a 2d powerhouse with CD media. They didn't even integrate 3d features until they saw what they were up against with Sony and even then they just threw some stuff on the original 2d board. Ever open up a Saturn? Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuugly.
would be if they could get someone to setup servers for the dreamcast's online games
I used to come home after high school and play Phantasy Star Online and UT every day.
Or maybe I know several hundred people and yes, REAL people!!! from real life!!! who are mad as hell at Sony not just about that but about a lot of the thigns that they have limited on the PSP
the second someone discovers it they will patent it.
correct me if I am wrong about this but isn't it like...40% of the human genome that is copyrighted now? And isn't most of it by private corporations?
The second they get out enough info I am gonna create a fan site. Maybe that way I can get into the beta. I know that just about everyone who had a WoW fansite was allowed into the alpha and beta testing.
They all seem to have some major backer that I don't feel I can trust to give me honest, unbiased news. Oh, and before you start, I know that they aren't the most reliable source ever to get information but to be entirely honest with you, I would rather get my news from 100 blogs of different positions than from the New York Times, The Wallstreet Journal, or any of my local papers. At least then I can pick through the crap, mix together the different points of view and come out with a fairly wellrounded understanding of things. (That is also why I don't watch television news, but they have a whole other type of corruption going on there!!! *coughs..fox *coughs*)
Sounds a lot like everyone elses work. Sounds like a lot of people out there are using PIII machines with Win2K on them. To be honest though I don't really need anymore than what I have. I can browse the net with 50 tabs open in mozilla, have notepad open, be downloading a couple different torrents, have my three work related apps open, and trillian running all at the same time with not too much of a slow down.
"...but surely something amazing is going to result from these efforts by the Utah scientists."....yea...ASSUMING that the crazy right wing Utah gov. doesnt step in and stop them...
In many confucian cultures juniors often feel great pressure to please their superiors.
It was not actually illegal when the junior team members dontated the eggs but since then the S Korean gov. has actually passed a law prohibiting it in a new "biotechnology ethics" law.
Personally I think it is a bunch of bs but I guess its difficult to understand unless you are part of the culture.

games weren't going to get as big as movies was dead wrong.
When was the last time you heard a kid ask you to buy him Han Solo or Gandalf juice?
I don't have to worry about which is better.
Trillian suppports them all.
With Trillian I can have my MSN, yahoo, AIM, and google names all up (and ICQ if I wanted to).
Is somebody bitter cause their favorite gaming company quit paying them to play their games. ;-)
