I'm very glad I have the girl I do involved in my life - maybe it's just that way when two people love each other - it's just such a good feeling that once you have it, you don't want to be without it.
or with closed source, it really should be - you pay for what you get.
c'mon, this article has to be a joke.
closed source has all the problems of OS, and more, not vice-versa. you can at least review the code of a program before implementing it, and even if you don't know how to code, there's thousands of other users surveying the code as well for errors. the OS community wants OS to look good - sure there are some people in it that probably would/have coded a backdoor here and there, but that's few and far between - especially compared with the people writing exploits for commonly used closed source applications...
i said "most system admins that would love to have linux..."
not "most admins want linux..."
big difference.
i was basically saying that people that prefer linux will most often have a workable knowledge of the operating system and various tools and utilities that run on linux.
this just isn't for joe consumer, but for converting business over to a linux desktop.
most system admins that would love to have linux on their place of employment's desktop will have no trouble setting up wine. all the users have to do is use it, not set it up...
and another point why internet voting just wont work...how many machines have other backdoors on them aside from this mydoom crap....i'm willing to say that's the number is more than that infected by mydoom alone.
or cosiderig pretty much every cell phone out there now has 911 emergency services, with gps locating capabilities...
how many people that use VOIP dont have a cell phone?
i know there's bound to be few - but this service isnt something that should be forced.
as other posters mentioned, some VOIP companies offer emergency services already.
if you need it, go for a company that offers it...if you dont need it (have a cell phone and/or land line)why should you have to pay?
choice....something starting to disappear with the ever merging corporate america and the government forcing companies to do this and that...

windows reigns king.
life's a bitch, ain't it?
this too is not a troll - just pointing out the blatantly obvious..."better" doesn't always have everything to do with it.
Aside from that - OSX requires particular hardware, whereas you have a bit more of an option with linux as far as platform flexibility.
Go away or I shall taunt you a second time!
uhh...you shouldn't admit that here....
you should know better.
around 41 grand now... lotsa time left
how many of US cell customers have free long distance?
