A surgeon isn't trying to race anything or anyone
The surgeon is trying to finish the surgery before the patient dies.
Surgeons are very skilled at doing their jobs quickly.
There's one scene where Rick whispers something to Sam and then Sam starts "As Time Goes By", so presumably he could have said 'again' that time.
There is no point in teaching... to anyone who doesn't care about it.
So, we should eliminate all of elementary school altogether?
It's perfectly correct albeit somewhat convoluted English.
Although it is saying that the billboard hides (intransitively), which is something different from hiding (transitively) the advert.
Before long they'll realize how silly it is and dispense with the whole trial and conviction theatre altogether.
Stopping shipments sound like the minimum of caution, not an "abundance".
How about a green energy race while we're at it?
"Shock collision in black hole plasma jet,"
...is actually a way better headline. Pool is (nearly always) a game of skill, not violence.
It's not that simple.
But neither is it so complex that "eating less" is without merit.
He's not ethical.
His results may or may not be scientific.
Of course, as a journalist, ethics isn't even an issue.
Business leaders are not there to 'know enough' about technology. Their function is to hire the right experts to do that.
Of course, listening to those experts and making an effort to understand their recommendations *is* part of the leader's role.
