    The NSA is just like a too big to fail bank. They believe they no longer need to hide their evil nature and criminal activity. They are, regrettably, correct in their belief.

    The Wall Street banks, private sector entities with (in theory) strict oversight, gambled away other people's money, and then the victims were forced to hand over taxes to replace the money the banks lost. Expect the "punishment" that the NSA receives now that their bubble (secrecy) has collapsed to be equally punitive.

    It does seem that the information content on the page is spread out much closer to uniformly, so it is mostly an improvement. But there are spots on the map where information is crowded together to preserve the aesthetics of the curves, so really no different in principle from a geographically accurate map or a stylized grid or any other solution.

    They'd be better off developing some kind of realistic anatomical hand so that nurses and doctors can get more practice.

    Without imported manufactured goods, the US would be forced to return to full employment. They are not certainly not going to let that happen.

    Russia doesn't even pretend to be pro-freedom. The US paints itself as the bad guy without any help.

    It could be as simple as Snowden being a legitimate refugee from political persecution.
