    Level to do what? Everything is about leveling and then when you're done what happens? You can't even stand around while newbs check out your "hard earned" gear anymore since they are giving it away fo free! The entire game is a pointless waste of time... and I'm not hating, I played it for 3 years and I forgot today was the expac.

    The U.S hasn't actually done anything to wikileaks, I know there's a lot of hysteria around it and the administration are opposed to it because of the embarrassment is causes (and generally makes everyone else's work much harder to do now) but there's really nothing in the leaks that point or show any wrong doing. All it shows in the internal back and forth of the inner workings of the government, as far as spying on diplomats so what? everyone spies.. and believe it or not it's in the best interest of YOUR country to know as much about other countries as possible.

    You don't wanna invade another country based on bad information right? [/sarcasm]

    Ok from what I understand some intelligence person released this information to wikileaks, so why is wikileaks sitting on this info releasing it piecemeal? Why not just release everything at once to all of us. problem solved.

    I put put 127.0.0.1 in my hosts file for facebook after my gf dumped me and I noticed almost every website calls the facebook like.ph url when you click on a link. Very annoying when trying to navigate with the back button

    don't be naive. lets say my "john smith" is a clerk with a measly level 5 access level, next thing you know his name is appearing in U.S intel briefs referring to things only a person with level 1 access should know. What do you think it's going to happen to him?

    I think most of that is released is in raw "petty gossip" format. It's like reading emails of your boss about employees, most of which is irrelevant and shouldn't be made public. People need to be able to talk shit without turning it into a shitfest.. we do it, they do it, what's the big deal?

    Actually java is more dangerous that IE in this case. Java can download apps disguised as jpeg files and execute them from the appdata/roaming folder (then again, most trojans that do this already exploit other methods to screw up the system)

    aren't you being overly dramatic there. Every system has had some known exploit at one point or other to gain elevated privilages, this bug seems to exploit left over junk from older oses that (ntsys calls) that exploits a buffer overflow in one of the methods to extract reg key values.

    Easy buffer overflow problem that shouldn't be hard to fix

    It seems their patent covers doing it on a per process bases plus the ability to turn it on or off in real time. Either way MS does have a similar thing in windows 7

    Meh I think claiming they are cheating with no evidence seems a little too out there. I've never seen MS brag about how fast their browser is on this particular benchmark, and frankly seems more like a bug than a cheat.
