I was beginning to give up hope. GTA V is one of the most impressive games I've played. Even just wandering around exploring the landscape is damned impressive.
Hopefully Rockstar doesn't mess up the PC version like they did with GTA 4.
I've used Turbotax the last few years. It works fairly well, although their walkthrough for each section is a bit cumbersome if you only want to change one thing.
A couple complaints though, Turbotax price for the version that files a Schedule C went up a lot. Luckily I can share the cost with another person, Turbotax lets you file 6 returns. With Turbotax you get free federal e-file, but not state e-file, they want $25 for that. I used to just fill out my simple state tax tax forms online on the state site, but for some reason the state no longer offers the simple online form hosted on their own servers. So I just print my state return and mail it with a check.
I don't plan on upgrading the XP machines until necessary. They run third-party anti-virus and firewalls, and weren't configured to download updates anyway. They are backed up daily and do their job very well. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. .
I don't find Win7 to be buggy at all and it's very stable. But I still like the XP interface and layout better. For example, try disabling and then re-enabling your LAN connection in Win7. Disabling isn't so hard, but re-enabling took me several minutes.
In XP you just right-click on the (animated) system tray icon and pick Disable. To re-enable it, go to Start, Settings, Network Connections, right-click on LAN connection and pick Enable.
I never installed the patches anyway, although I did install SP1, 2, and 3. A good firewall and common sense have kept me virus-free since DOS and floppy disk days (I got the Stoner virus about 20 years ago.)
Yes, the only difficulty in installing an older version of an Android app is finding a trustworthy source. Of course you could back up your own APK files.
Personally I leave auto-update turned off and only upgrade when I need/want to. I don't need an unexpected update changing the functionality of the app before I'm good and ready for it.
Just like Best Buy will charge you $29.99 to set up your game console: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Geek+Squad%26%23174%3B+-+In-Store+Gaming+and+Customization+Setup/8835497.p?id=1218016228965&skuId=8835497
I think they do an in-home install for $100 or more!
I use it to keep in touch with a group of gaming friends, you send one message and everyone in the group gets it. Sort of like a forum, but you can create groups any time you like, invite anyone you like to them, and there is no moderation.
Thirded. I've been playing Planetside 2 very regularly since last it came out back in Nov 2012. The game is a bit like Battlefield 2142 but imagine taking 100 Battlefield maps and putting them all together, spread out on 3 different continents. And the battle/gameplay is continuous, no downtime and no end-of-matches.
I have also been playing Civ5, Fallen Enchantress, Operation Flashpoint Red River (got it cheap in the Humble Bundle, playing co-op with a friend), ARMA3, Fallout NV, and Skyrim.
About the only things I can think of that I would eat from a "wild" plant are blackberries. I don't know of anyone that eats wild mushrooms, they just avoid them altogether.
When I read about millions of credit card numbers getting stolen, are they somehow being used in face to face transactions? I don't think so. And PIN numbers are already used in debit card transactions. And what good is a chip in an online transaction?
The way I see it, people are going to have to give up some measure of privacy to obtain better security. That isn't something I embrace.
I'm on such a wireless connection right now. 30ms ping to Google, it's very usable and I have no complaints. Hasn't gone down in bad weather, and doesn't crap out during thunderstorms like our old T1 used to (I'm sure crappy Verizon lines were the problem there.)
Yeah I have it too on my old Roku. I had forgot how it got on there, but apparently it was a private channel I added years ago and although the private channel is no longer available for some reason it still works, I use it all the time.
I'm more likely to upgrade now that they finally support YouTube again. Hope the interface is fast and simple.
GTA IV PC had lots of problems. Windows Live, performance issues, Social Club issues.

That's good to know, nice that's an option.
Yeah if I wanted a browser with no conventional pull-down menus and no title bar I'd use Chrome.

That's more like it. But the US guvmint apparently hates diesels.
36MPG is not good gas mileage, especially for a tiny car like that. I think that's what is bothering the vandals.

It's my only good internet option, slow at 1.5Mb but unlimited. Satellite no, 3g no, dial-up hell no.

Yes I think they're more obvious now too. What I don't like is the larger font.

Really very cool IMO.

I don't know who they are but I would think BanxCorp would be happy to be mentioned favorably by Costco and Capital One.

You shouldn't be able to encourage someone to plead guilty in exchange for a lesser sentence or better situation.

I don't hunt but I'd be happy to walk around in the woods and shoot drones. Sounds fun!
It's essentially the same thing.
