Not to knock Burt Rutan or anything, but it goes to show the German war machine did some serious thought. What's interesting is that they current thoery on the plane was to fly it into US buildings. At work I had a second USB mouse on the floor and would move it with my feet and use my toes to work the bottons. IT worked great and ALL of my co-workers thought I was nuts at first then marveled at the ability to make small mouse movements while typing with both hands.

The idea of meeting ~80% of our domestic demand for gas by disposing of our sewage and ag waste sounds good to me. I might even be willing to part with some of the tax cut the House keeps trying to give me. What kind of economic expansion would we see if we kept all the money we spend on oil inside the US economy instead of exporting it the the House of Saud? What kind of water quality would we see if our sewers put out distilled water? Could we use that distilled water to de-salinize the central California soils?
Fly wheels are also a great option for houses. You distribute them in neighborhoods, then if there is a black out or a brown out they can re power the system from the end of the line. Might keep the grid from crashing.

Corporations had limited liability and limited rights later the Supreme Court read the 14th amendment as giving human rights to property, thus giving human rights to limited liability legal structures. So now they have the benefit of limited liability and the right to speech moreover money is now considered a form of speech. Therefore corporation may make money illegally, then use that money to affect government. This is just as fucked up as letting churches make money tax free and then letting them use that money to affect government. Its fucking wrong and un-American and need to be stopped. If you want to express your opinion as a business then take the money out of it, pay taxes and be subject to personal limits. COPRPORATIONS SHOULD NOT HAVE MORE RIGHT THAN A HUMAN BEING.

Gun violence in urban areas is the result of people shooting each other. It not always about defending yourself and your community from the invading British or people breaking into your home while you are home. Often times its about murder, revenge, robbery, rape or drugs. Either way your answer still results in people getting shot. Why is that good? How can that possibly be a good result?
About "fit for survival" is about millions of years of evolution without guns then hundreds of years with guns. How many accidental guns deaths occur each year in the US? About 1,500 per a pro gun site I just found. So this is a meaningless point really.
About children and guns. No offense to your memory of your childhood or your intelligence but there was NOTHING in my house that I could not get to. My parents used to have a lock on the Tv power cord. Great idea but it took me less than a day to get around it.
Did you read the NYT article this Sunday about rural gun violence. In most of rural America its suicide by guns. Another great idea. If your going to kill yourself why does it have to leave a puddle of blood for the people who are already grieving by your loss to clean up.
Yeah it is... Columbine, LA, D.C., wherever you go people are killing other people with firearms except in countries where you just can't get the guns.

I just think that if you are not in a "well regulated militia" of your peers not run by the government then you should have the right o bear arms. A la the Swiss model. Every man and woman in the US should be trained to use a rifle and be ready to use it for the national defense. Well-regulated might also mean that it only fire for you and takes a picture of the target and the user and e-mails it to the police ever time you use it. I believe in dangerous freedoms. I believe that we should have guns but in the same right I think I should be able to smoke pot or kill myself if I choose.
Many people are getting rewarded. The billions spent on "reconstruction" was totally devoid of accoutning or auditing. People are testifing before congress that duffle bags with 2 million in cold hard cash was going the door without even a fucking recipt. Some people are profiting don't you worry about that.
