A convertible tablet would bridge the wacom issue. Why Apple doesn't offer a convertible tablet is beyond me. If they only reason to pay for a Mac is the quality of design you'd think a hinge would be a small issue. I have found a after market shop that repackages a powerbook into a tablet w/o a keyboard.
I have looked at the x41t for the PPT notes too. You have to use a strange print driver and print the PTT into OneNote to use the pen to add info to the slides but that's not too bad. I have spent almost $100 on printing PPT in the last year at college. The dick profs. only have 1/2 the slide posted so you will come to class then inevitably pause for only a second on the slide you don't have.
What is far left? Communism. What is far right? Fascism.
What was Clinton described as? "Moderate." What is Bush described as "Radical right wing."
Is Bush a "conservative?" HELL NO, he is a radical right wing. e.g. Privatization of SS is a radical notion, akin to changing horses in mid-race in fact. Invading a foreign country is a radical notion esp. on the basis of preemptive defense. Bush is far more closely related to fascist than Clinton was to commies. e.g. Both support open markets. e.g. deregulation of telecoms, energy and free trade. Both are capitalist free market pro-business. The difference is that Bush thinks defense of the population is more important than defense of the constitution, his vowed duty.
Bush turning his back on the Powell doctrine was a radical notion and because Bush has failed to study history (despite his Andover education,) he has repeated it. The greatest failure was Powell's. Bush is an idiot, and asshole, and exactly what we asked for as a country. Powell was smart enough to know better and so his shame is the shame of wasted potential and squandered trust.
Who would want an imperialistic U.S. What would such a governement mean to the writer? Where would their levels of critisim be if we were 'imperialist?' Why are 'hostile" nations critical of us as a non-imperialist nation? When in the course of human events... How big an asshole are you really?
Not to dog the ACLU, becasue I support them, but they do do wacky things from time to time. When my Dad was the assistant secretary of state for a western state he was sued by the ACLU for busting pimps, at the time the ACLU claimed he was violating their cultrual rights.
No shit, I know a guy who invented a diaper indicator badge, they told him to go away becasue if oyu don't know you'll change it anyway.
The only problem with you poo-pooing is that there are these magical things call credit unions. I know they care communist bullshit but they have no vested interesting is fucking you in the ass for you 2nd to last dollar. They might do it and once you have them in the market the banks might pick it up.
I have always thought it would be great to have a LCD that show what your balance is. Have a small calc. that allows you to add and subtract checks. That way you would never overdraw etc.
Some debt isn't bad but that much debt would make me pass on investing with them, and in the end that's all that accounting really means; do I want to invest with this company. What's their acid test ratio, their statement of cash flows, thier PE ratio, their current debt ratio, and their long term debt ratio. Anyone have a quarterly report for BB on hand?
If you are looking for old school. God back to the PDP-1 and an oscilloscope and fire up Spacewar. Or if you're stuck with new fangled hardware download Ur-Quan masters. sc2.sourceforge.net
Without a doubt Starcontrol2 was the best multiplayer game and the best single player game ever.
No no its the sigularity! The great mountain of time! the I-Ching! ack. Thrrrpt its Bill the fucking Cat, eating out Jean Kirkpatrick (one of the founders of the vulcans.)
Another way to make this type of system work even better is to add flywheel batteries. That way you have distributed production and storage. UPS the whole damn grid.
Petzl makes head lamps that have an external battery pack as well. Good for winter camping and caving. I found it to be annoying much of the time but my batteries lasted a lot longer on NOLS than the people I was with.
Apple's biggest proc mistake was killing the BiCOMS Exponential 704 when it had the PowerPC clocked at 533 Mhz and was the fastest chip on the planet. Oops. Where did that patent portfollio go? Last stop I guess was Cyrix? Or National Semiconductor?
The act of writing can help with encoding.

Interesting note. Feersum Endjin is the same as Arthur C. Clark's "The City and the Stars" the story of the jackasses who stayed behind.
The culture novels own.
I am sad to see Vernor Vinge missing from the list. I really liked "A Fire Upon the Deep" pack mind network topography was great.

One of the dumbest polls ever on Slashdot was "When are you going to a 64 bit CPU" or something like that. There was no option for 2038.
Or you can use turkey offal.

Your comment makes me think og the gasoline powered stils that russians had, ~40 feet or something in height but landing was a BITCH.
Powerskip.de would benefit from these protiens.

There once was a site called 'we hurt the ones we love' about Real Doll repair. Oh the humanity.
