This is called split tunneling. If he disables split tunneling and specifies the DNS servers in the VPN config his problems would go away.
His users however would tunnel all their traffic through the corporate lan while connected so you may need to setup some kind of filtering or route the traffic through whatever filters you already have. Otherwise these remote workers in hotel rooms will be pulling buckets-o-pr0n through your corp network.
I work for a school that is a self maintainer of ibm/lenovo laptops. We order the parts and do the work ourselves. We joke about the massive boxes for little parts all the time. The worst I have seen is a box that was roughly 1'6"x1'6x1' that contained a single CMOS battery. I've also seen large boxes like that with bubble packing and peanuts that contain a little bag of maybe 10 screws.
Game plays like shit. I loved the game, but it choked the hell out of my machine. Lowest settings It would let me do and it was just a step above a slide show. CPU was constantly maxed at 100%. It was reasonably ok in solo PVE but any PVP scenario was dreadful. I had to give the game up and went back to WOW with some friends. I miss my little Ironbreaker. Little bastard was almost indestructible.
WOW plays fine on the box, except Dalaran turn into a lagfest.
Epic can kiss my ass after that fiasco. The ut2004 had a great linux client. Was supposed to be one for UT3 as well as the editor. Hell it's even done but Ryan Gordan can't release it.
I lost my wallet once on a saturday and didn't notice until monday. I went out for more beer saturday night and my wallet fell out of my pocket ( best guess of what happened since the pants I was wearing always lost shit from the pocket when I sat down ) when I got in my friends car. Sunday I didn't go out so never looked for my wallet. Monday I looked and couldn't find it. Checked my bank of america online page and saw fraudulent charges. Mostly from local conveinence stores and wal-marts. I contacted BOA and the local police, BOA refunded all the money, including overdraft within a few hours. The police took a report, and never heard from them again. BOA never questioned the charges but asked I gave them a police report number. All was well. Issued a new card and got it in the mail a week or so later.
I can attest to this. I did my free annual credit report a few months ago. I've been getting spammed like hell hell from transunion. Granted I might have missed a checkbox or something, I don't really remember, but I get at least 2 emails a week from them. My wife did the same, and got the same.
So really just to access information that severely affects my life, I get spammed to high heaven.
The other one is virtual. The energy it costs to deliver it to you is negligible, as is the required energy to properly dispose of it. (hit delete)
Oh yeah, also if you have a decent spam filter you will RARELY get unsolicited emails.
There is NO DECENT FILTER for snail spam. It costs money to power the antispam machines, the extra machines needed to process the mail that gets through and wasted time of people deleting it. I used to work for an ISP/hosting joint. Small mom and pop place. 1 server would have been plenty to deal with our load, except for the spam. a couple hundred domains spam going through our mailservers forced us to cluster up to 6 machines to deal with the filtering.
I can sort my snailmail spam from real mail in a couple seconds. With electronic spam I have to tweak filters and still end up deleting a good amount from my inbox which takes time.
I mean they didn't invent it. Their using of this critical interoperability protocol without payment to the inventors is ludicrous.
just my 2 cents ( paid in full to the anglo-saxons )

This won't work on a PEAP( very common ) setup. If the AP doesn't present a valid certificate the client wont attempt authentication.
Except an M-16 uses a MAGAZINE, not a clip.

Except China has a metric assload of people. They could power the plants with people used as fuel and still have more than enough for cheap labor.

Yeah funny black people in Africa. Whodathunkit?
Vmware server is a free download as well. Or you could purchase workstation for a reasonable cost. Stock up on RAM though!
I'm testing ESX by installing it inside workstation then putting virtual machines inside ESX.
at the very LEAST! maybe SSL + password protection. Right now anyone with the URL can hop on in and see/edit the document.

I thought it looked like a coffee stain at first. Then I realized it was a stylized ibex

Funny, mininova never asked for any of that. No late fees either :)
