    When I've played this game through, my days as a gamer will mostly be over. I mean , what game is there to look forward too? None that I know of. I would seriously like to know. The pirating scene, and the businesses counter-moves is a downward spiral that I really resent, and which take much fun out of gaming.

    Tell me about it. I have to underclock my Athlon 2600+ to 2400+ to have it run stable. And my Radeon 9600 Pro wouldn't work because VIA messed up their AGP-implementation, but at last ATI came up with a fix in the drivers. That board has brought me nothing but grief, and VIA will never see my money again.

    Yes, and a good thing too. The other side of the equation is that the consumer is entirely free to buy this version of Windows, any other version, or Linux or OSX, or he may buy none of them and head down to the beach and surf the waves. He is a free man living in a free society, noone is forcing him to buy Windows.

    Tell me about it. From october till february my 9600 Pro was useless for many games. There is no use in having top hardware if the drivers are no good. See this 83-page(!) thread with other people who were having problems.
