The only problem being "what happens when this becomes the standard rather than the exception?"
I wouldn't put it past the RIAA and their allies to just give a big ole "Fuck you!" to anyone who wants to listen to their CD's on a computer and for record stores to stop allowing exchanges.
I'd say Sony/RCA/etc don't care that you don't own a dedicated CD player (non-computer). They'll say that "if you want to listen to CD, buy a damned CD player you pirating hippy!"
I think the parent-poster is saying that the Tippman isn't as good a gun for speedball as it is for woods use. It trades the speed and sophistication useful in speedball for simplicity and reliability, things you can really come to appreciate after crawling through the dirt awhile.
Well, even if that were true (and i'm not saying it isn't), Mutually Assured Destruction is what kept us at "peace" during the Cold War and is probably the only reason the US and/or most of Europe isn't aglow right now.
MAD seems to be what you're suggesting we propagate in the Middle East. At least there's a historical precedent for it working.
i know people have been saying they've seen these from other manufacturers, but i have seen this very model from 3M before. They had it at Software Etc. (or Babages, i forget which, they're owned by the same company) in the Springfield Mall in Springfield, VA. This was back in April/May.
pretty damned presumptious of you. I'm sure not a single person at RedHat or VA Linux is concerned with making a buck or two. Not like the programmers have families to feed or rent to pay. They're businesses just like everyone else, out to make some dough.
I'm afraid this was pretty far from perfect, even just looking at the animation. Yeah, it was really good CGI. Really damn good, but there were problems. Their reaction times were off sometimes, such as in a certain scene involving plasma-sonic lasers going out, they were too fast on the uptake, in my opinion. There was one scene (i'm told, i actually didn't notice, but my girlfriend did) where the Dr. lady shouts, but her face doesn't take on the correct "mask" for someone who is shouting, the muscles don't move quite right. In the scene towards the end where Cpt. What's-His-Name is trying to get up, you can see a muscle in his arm that is totally wrong. I'm sure there were other rough spots. Yeah, i'm nitpicking, but you did say it was perfect...
Furthermore, you aren't allowed to download someone else's rip because you don't have their license to use the music, you only have your own
I'm not perfectly sure, as it's been about 2 years since i verified this information, but i believe it is legal to hold any mp3 of any song that you don't already own for the purpose of previewing it. That was one of the big points behind Napster's "what we're doing ins't illegal" defense.
If "Citizen 513" uses a Canadian E-mail addess, kept his files on a Russian server, and they "aren't sure of anything or even if he is male (assumably meaning they also do not know what country 'he' is a citizen of)," can he be included as a defendent in an American lawsuit? It would seem like the individual would be out of US jurisdiction, at least until citizenship is established.
But they were in a pretty deplorable state from all points you mean New Jersey?

Dude...you've got 1 Gig of memory in your system...and you're saying it's obsolete...
I've got 512 Meg in mine and was feeling pretty satisfied, but now...

because even with www.yahoo-france.com, French internet surfers can still cruise on over to www.yahoo.com and see all the nasty nazi knick-nacks.
Real coders are born, not made.
Pretentious cunt.

Heh, truth modded down to oblivion in favor of conceit and masturbatory ego-stroking... Too bad pointing it out doesn't make it go away.

yeah, it's new, they're trying to keep out A/C "FP! I RoX0R!" type stuff.

well, i don't know since when something like 640,000 X 1,000,000 resolution and every color concievable by nature was considered "settling"...

err...i was thinking of rigging one up to my car. Then i could get a performance boost and be able to cook a burrito as i speed down the highway.
