Why would it matter? If he is the only user of the system if any application has a vulnerability and its effects are localized to the scope of power that his user has, all of his documents can be compromised, etc. which it the only thing an end user cares about anyway.
Semantics. I think you mean to say outside. Deleting a file out of a folder sounds like something my grandmother would say when she wants to delete a file in a folder.

And also "no multiple undo", how 70's. Side note, you can add this to your.vimrc : set background=dark if you use a black terminal. Or you can just disable syntax highlighting. Even if you only use vi features, multiple undo is enough to offset all of the bloat.

not only that, what you really have to do is hit escape, shift+;, w, enter, and finally i to be back in edit mode. 6 keys to save your file in edit mode and return to edit mode. Insane.

The remapping thing is a valid point--the "buy another keyboard" is not. If you commit to an editor, you want to use it everywhere: friend's houses, work, school, laptop (ok.. the keyboard is smaller in this case regardless), library, etc.
"Only when traffic shaping is done based on endpoints does the topic stop being QoS and start being Net Neutrality." I don't think it is so simple. Let's say then that you don't worry about end points and just shape all voice traffic to be laggy and drop out. Hey isn't that convient, your DSL company still sells POTS based phones and has a nice expensive long distance contract to offer.
No! It isn't the games! Nintendo isn't about games. They discovered that you can't make games new and original and appealing to everyone unless you make a magic wand for them to wave around. *rolls eyes*
Once you pass $300 (and many would argue this number should be lower), you have passed the realm of sanity and price comparisons don't really matter--you are throwing away money on either chip.
My university safes tens of thousands on bandwidth by prioritizing web traffic and email over bittorrent and kazaa. What does net neutrality have to say about this? I don't think this issue is as cut and dry as you would like it to be.
The obstacles are large I am sure, but it is worth noting that Jython goes from Python to Java source to java bytecode, not straight to java bytecode (If I'm not mistaken, please correct me if I am). Having this intermediate step would seem to help the chances of this being possible.
They write code and they want that code to be used by the most people possible. That is their return. They want it to be compatible with everything (GPL, proprietary, etc.); and so they chose a license as close to public domain as possible. Public domain would be the choice of most people who choose to license with MIT, BSD, etc., except for the legally uncertain ground of software liability. So basically all these licenses are public domain + "don't sue us".
I'm sure you've seen hundreds of movies that used the same studio fake location shots, "street in new york", etc., which would be comprible. They make minor varitions, but these sets are used all over the place.
Unfortunately for your point, these comics don't describe the letter system at all.
How can you prove to the customer that you won't just do half as much work and do it the easy way, just stretched out over time?
Your desktop video card compiles apps faster?
Find me an example of a teacher doing that. I'm sure you can, but I'm sure it an extremely niche case.

Take this to email; it's a borefest.
Hilarious. Now I know how big of a grain of salt to take your other post with.
I doubt they care; you can't see their ads in lynx.
Do you have any idea how much a 2-way flight every week costs? Unless this guy has a family of 8, cost of living isn't likely to come into it.
This rocks.

Hi. The way society makes progress is that when people have preferences or dislikes, they make them known.

Firefox with cairo (along with cairo with glitz) absolutely flies. It is in CVS now and you can check it out if you have a box that can run Xgl.
Grammar. It's grammar.
