    Forget a RAM error, I have seen a bit on a file on the disk flip.

    After years of successful operation a Perl script quite working. On investigation a G was transformed to a W a difference of one bit. The file mod date was years old.

    Ditto, except it was something like a w to a 7.

    Various services? What am I doing sitting at work like a sucker? I should filling out a patent application for...oh, I don't know...teleportation! Everybody wants teleportation, right?

    The system provides various services to transport an object from point A to point B. For example, it could do it instantaneously and invisibly.

    Since everybody wants teleportation I just sit back and collect those licensing checks. Am I forgetting anything?

    I don't think you're getting it. If you want a mouse AND a keyboard, get a laptop. The iPad isn't a laptop. It really is not meant to do everything a laptop can do. That doesn't make it bad, lame, or crippled. It's just not a laptop.

    George Washington and John Adams had different views on this one than Thomas Jefferson. So no, it's not clear how "top-heavy" the US government was supposed to be, because no one ever really agreed on it.

    Thank you! Anybody who tells you that the founding fathers were of a like mind on anything shouldn't be listened to because they don't know what they're talking about.

    Thank you, Captain Pedantic, because I had been unaware that slavery was prohibited by the constitution until you brought it up (for I have been living on Mars, in a cave...).

    I had wondered whether I should use "slavery" or "segregation" in my post. I decided to use "slavery" because I knew smart people would be able to infer segregation and other unpleasantness from slavery, not to mention the whole Civil War vs. War Between the States nonsense. Seems to be working as a great filter that way.

    Huh? How does a link to the source code in the app not satisfy 3b? It's an offer, it's free, it's machine-readable, and it's customarily used for s/w distribution.
