Unlike France, Germany, Denmark, The Netherlands, Ireland, Poland and Sweden, the USA does not qualify its definition of free speech...There is no laws against "hate speech", "denying the holocaust", "blasphemy", "promoting immoral activities", or "seditious speech".
A far bigger story? How? A review panel finds that the UN's climate panel could be doing a better job but "...the way the United Nations panel goes about its work has 'been successful overall.'" That's big news?
If you'd RTFA, you'd find out that the device is part of their "conditional discharge" (i.e. probation) (you'd also find an answer to your bankruptcy concern). Don't want to use the device because you feel it infringes too much on your personal liberties? Fine. Stay locked up.
And if all the people in New Orleans had been bussed out before Katrina hit, it would have been a yawner, too. Then people would have complained that the expensive evacuation wasn't worth the money and that it was all just media hype.
Speaking as a sociopath (which I am - I can cut off anything even vaguely resembling emotion at will)...I am capable of love, dedication, grief..., happiness, anger, the full spectrum of human emotion.
I don't think "sociopath" means what you think it means.
Personally I think Christians (practicing their faith in "loving others") are the best kind of citizen one can have. They follow the just laws, they pay taxes and help their fellow men.
And they used to own slaves, then moved on to lynching and segregating blacks...and used scripture to justify it. Talk about moral relativism...
Sorry. I didn't realize there were qualifications to your unqualified free speech.

Oh really?
Should VA sue Northrop Grumman, then?
VA shouldn't have to sue NG. NG should do the right thing. It won't, of course.
I did not use the term "successful", it was the review panel. Perhaps you should read that "over and over until you get it".
Besides, the article you linked to does not contain the quote you cite.
A far bigger story? How? A review panel finds that the UN's climate panel could be doing a better job but "...the way the United Nations panel goes about its work has 'been successful overall.'" That's big news?
I'm burned out working for idiot management. It seems like good managers are getting rarer and rarer.
Somebody (certainly not him) needs to pay for his bad investments!
...Kurzweil's assessment that about a million lines of code may be enough to simulate the human brain.
If you accept that, then the real problem to solve becomes: in what language do you write the code?
;-)

It's also possible that a number of people around you were vaccinated, which would have decreased your risk of exposure. Just a thought.

I find it highly likely that Scalia would not overturn a state's law allowing gay marriage; he would consider that the state's prerogative.
When it suits him, Scalia doesn't mind crapping on a state's prerogative at all. How it counts votes in a presidential election, for instance.
You can visit the White House for free, troll.
... but what I don't believe is that corporations are required to make their bidding lower to the government...
Isn't the whole point of the suit that Oracle was required by their contract "to make their bidding lower to the government"?
Then again, he is a platypus and platypuses don't do much.
Don't forget the ones back at the office who are fighting over your now-vacant spot.
Do you actually know anybody who is having this "problem" with their iPhone 4 such that they can't use it?
Neither do I.

Solaris is and never will be the Solaris we old hackers got to know and love.
Oh, I don't know. I had to use Solaris a couple of years ago and I felt like I was back in 1992 all over again...
Not all bands end up screwed. The ones that sell a lot make a lot. They're in the minority, of course.

Marriage, adoption, military service.
Your typing skills are admirable for someone who was born yesterday.
Are we sure this story isn't from Indiana?
If you honestly think there is no porn available for iPhones, you really need to stop using the computer in your parents' living room
...Thomas really is dumber than Scalia.
