    yes - marker pen sketches are cool - whatever is the opposite of the status quo is always appealing, i guess.

    the seventies clothes on the figures don't surprise me - i doubt anyone at atari read The Face, but the actual design of the boxes is kind of conflicted. they go and make a totally cool sci-fi shaped box and then stick wood-effect veneer on the sides. wood! it's like atari's mom was in charge of the sides of the boxes or something.

    i must not be in my right mind, as i used to have a great time playing UT on a powerbook. left hand thumb on the trackpad and fingers on the arrow keys, right hand on the keyboard. playing with a mouse afterwards felt strangely disconnected, like driving an automatic when you're used to a stick.

    i'd have something go wrong on the holodeck that would keep the ship in a time loop. the bad aliens would turn out to be good guys and vice versa. everyone would get really old very quickly because of a space phenomenon and would then go mad. and turn into lizards. and then meet god. in the end it would all turn out to be a romulan plot. new uniforms please!

    it's like finding a connection between watching a ball game and eating hotdogs and assuming that if you eat more hotdogs you'll see more ball games.

    yes, there's a ratio, but that doesn't prove there's a direct connection.

    the simplified statistics look like a trap; he treats them as a simple metric of the bomber's vulnerability to attack from different angles. i wonder if the bombers faced more frontal attacks early in their mission - before they had released their bombs and were still carrying lots of fuel.

    or perhaps less experienced pilots would tend to mount attacks from behind.

    the guy sounds very clever, but when i see statistics like that i start wondering about what they're really measuring.
