I may have been mistaken. I may have read this quote and misapplied "The EU’s chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier said he would deliver his speech in English. “ If incorrect thanks for pointing that out.

Check your stat definitions before using them to make a point. Those are 'native tongue' percentages. 51% speak English.

English is important, but if a language replaces it as a common tongue, it likely won't be a European language. If it shifts, it will be Mandarin/Cantonese, or Arabic. Maybe even Russian.

If not English, Spanish would be the more logical choice, imho.

Advertisers were successfully bullshitted into believing that their brands would be tarnished by appearing next to "offensive" videos. The problem is that YouTube went overboard and now considers everything "offensive" that's not basically cute kittens playing with yarn, not just extremists videos demanding the execution of everything who follows the wrong delusion.

The problem here is that the reason people went from traditional media and to YouTube is exactly that they're fed up with having "family friendly" bullshit shoved down their throats. If that's all that remains on YouTube, people will simply move on.

And then nobody sees your pretty ads either.

The people who are really supporting the offensive videos are the viewers. The add just comes with the viewer click. Just put a disclaimer on all ads, "we are not endorsing any content, but you are by clicking on it".

How many of those employees out of work if it weren't for Amazon? How many jobs does Amazon's business displace? All good things to consider. Unfortunately some here just spout stuff without any indication they even thought beyond a reaction. How about access to lower cost products and more choice by the Italian consumer?

Of course, the structure of the EU is something that complicates matters when it comes to taxes. Luxomberg, for example, pays a lot to the EU overall.

That is how you safely test cars by having several drivers on a closed course simulate heavy traffic changing lanes and even tapping the vehicle to simulate a collision.

Yes, you can create complicated scenarios and test them, but you can't create nearly enough to cover the range of what will actually occur in actual driving conditions and interactions with human drivers.
