None of the information was labeled as classified or classified when she received it. It later became classified. Prior to being classified, she could have put it on TV for all the world to see without breaking any rules or laws. Further, most of the information was distributed throughout the department so that hundreds of employees read the so-called classified information. It seems that people like the CIA and the military posted the information and forgot to control or label its release. Her enemies are trying to create another false issue just as they did with Obama's birth certificates.
The right wing is ultra dangerous and are trying to overthrow the US government.
Just how quickly can these blades be secured and protected if wind storms approach? In many areas wind spouts (tornados over the water) are common events. So can these blades survive a 200 mph. wind?
Oddly as far as security is concerned we need numerous, isolated, power grids. With a nationwide grid, an attack at one point could wipe out the power supply for the entire nation. Yet we can also exterminate ourselves by allowing pollution. There is no easy answer.
The US will also see a basic income system for all people soon enough. There simply is no choice. Human employment is about to become rare. Entire trades and industries will be eliminated by technological progress. In order for the system to continue to exist there will simply be no choice other than providing solid paychecks to all people. So many businesses depend upon the public having disposable income, in addition to a get by type of income, the only way to keep the system alive is a decent paycheck for each person and without employment, there is only one source that can do the job. The government will cut the checks and business and the wealthy will provide the funds.
Oddly only socialism can work as an operating system in a high technology world.
Traditional fuel suppliers have devised a perfect weapon against solar power in China. They simply generate so much soot that sunlight can never reach a solar cell or collector.
The term has more than one meaning. School systems do need reforming. The obstacle is the parents. The idea that my kid must be promoted is behind the great dumbing down of public schools. Raise the bar for getting a grade and the able students will prosper and the less able students will be labeled for what they are. As it now stands the worst students dictate the depth at which a subject can be taught. The parents make the phone calls and the mayor and other officials insist that the lesser minds do well in classes. The catch is that the lesser minds will do little for society whereas the sharper minds can do a great deal for all of us.
The best idea is to cut the cord and make all of your won power. Solar, wind, as well as the occasional generator feeding a decent battery bank can provide power for cautious users. What we expect from power companies is total commitment to getting away from burning fossil fuels.
The justice system in the US is a total mess. There can be no denial that cops are doing awful things all too frequently. Local lawmakers also do some of the most ignorant things one can imagine. And when one gets into the courts, there is a tendency to investigate nothing and get decisions that are based upon the convenience of the judge rather than any hint of justice.
And it is not just sex crimes that are twisted either. We need to dump our laws and reform the entire justice system from the fender bender in traffic all the way up through murder and sex crimes.
As far as sex crimes go we have a segment of our population that see themselves as some sort of morality wizards. They tend to see the world as a pathway of moral choices and they have decided that they will be the ones who decide exactly where on that path one may step. In my area, we end up with sex offenders living in our hedges. They can live nowhere in town at all. They tend to live under our bridges as the bridges are distant from school yards and play- grounds. So if a cop stops them and asks where they live they say under the bridge. But in reality, they tend to stop when they feel tired and try to sleep out of sight. It is very similar to what they did with prostitutes. The hookers had their phoney massage parlors and dating parlors shut down by the cops. That caused them to ply their wares on the streets, exposing more people to prostitutes and offering less control over diseases and endangering the Johns as well as without a fixed address the Johns were frequently beaten or robbed.
A firearm should have artistic aspects to it to be enjoyed as well as increase in value. For example, a revolver with no safety on it is much more beautiful than a bulkier weapon with extra parts. In the hands of a trained shooter that safety device offers nothing at all except one more thing to maintain or break.
The nonsense about 30K people perishing from gun shots is just a hoax. Two- thirds of that 30K are suicides. It may be better that shooting oneself exists rather than overdosing on medications. Too many times those overdose cases involve brain damage and years in nursing homes at great expense. Also, some are shot by cops. So in reality, we have less than 10K people a year killed by guns. How many people die every year from using bicycles or motorcycles?
So put guns in perspective. Guns surely are less dangerous than your medicine cabinet.
Crime is no longer a lifestyle that one can choose to follow all through life. Now one had best be highly educated and born with a high IQ or take up honest work as you will be caught.
But soon, detection of white collar crimes will become far more common as well as easy. Computers and software will make all the difference. It is becoming possible to look at bank accounts, charge cards, debit cards and money transfers, quickly and easily. A deep look at many people will show that they are spending more than they claim that they earn. Insurance fraud, tax fraud and other white collar crime will suddenly be revealed. A simple example is taking out insurance and claiming that you do not smoke or drink. Thanks to modern technology we might be able to discover exactly how much tobacco and alcohol you purchase in a years time. Gotcha!
What you suggest is not good. For example, how many decades did the tobacco industry stall action by demanding absolute proof of very direct connections between tobacco use and death and disease? rigid and formal proofs delay vital actions.
We know that warming is occurring. One way to observe the problem is by species migration into areas that were formerly too cold for them to prosper. It doesn't matter a bit how much warming is produced by human activities. The point is that we have warming and need to immediately do everything we can to hold back warming. We are already seeing numerous deaths caused by warming. Those who would delay the battle will cost more lives. Win the battle and then look back and argue the cause of the battle.
Yes, we are in trouble. But the right wing in the US is in no trouble at all. Just ask them.
Things we can do : Plant mangrove swamps + grow trees everywhere. + stop all new road making and start painting rooftops white and reducing the human footprint on the earth . Stop burning oil and coal and above all, make far fewer babies.
I wonder why the type of fuel is not mentioned. That would seem to be the key point in such an announcement. Maybe the Navy has found a way to capture all of the hot air that Trump is exhaling.
Should we be more frightened by a somewhat insane FBI or a band of rabid communists? I think maybe the FBI is the greater of two evils. Gee whiz! Americans might learn to use chopsticks in an international village. That is a threat to American knife and fork makers and capitalism in general.
Many people are inclined to use Linux. However, people often need specialized software that is simply not available for Linux. there are music and art programs for Linux that are just fine but they tend to have a steep learning curve. But many companies have numerous employees that need effective tools that simply have no real learning curve at all. I will not run any Microsoft software. However, some of the programs that one can purchase for their OSs are really nice. To make a living
any product needs either a large user base or an ability to charge quite a bit to support a small number of users.
How about we pass a law that money must be lost in any of these regulations such that the state or county would have a negative incentive for enforcement. If we force people to purchase insurance it will be like car insurance and offer no real protection to the injured while generating money for the government and private companies as well.
Try getting smacked by a car and see just how little a 10,000 dollar injury and loss of wages policies do for you. They are worthless.
Example: Mary is hit by a car. Here immediate medical treatment costs over $700,000. Further, she will be in a medical type of nursing home for the rest of her life with a current monthly charge of $9,000 per month and she will also have high medical bills every month for as much as eighty years before she passes. She also can not ever work and her children will need ongoing care until they are 21. The court awards may 30,000,000 million dollars. the lawyer gets ten million and the court costs come to about $50,000. The insurance company is only liable for $10,000 total and the driver has a minimum wage job. Courts in my state rarely go beyond the insurance policy limits. Mary will not have money for the care she needs for more than ten years. Her kids are screwed. Mary dies from lack of quality medical care.
Buy one share of company stock, and bug the management and record all of their conversations and emails. After all, you are an owner of the company and have the right to know what goes on with executives, management and other owners. Let the courts play with why one group has more rights than an owner who also happens to be an employee.
Back in 1970, I was the new guy at a company. One of the older workers asked me what i got paid and i saw no harm in telling him. It almost caused a strike if not a riot. I assumed i was the lowest paid worker as i was new and young and the workers were skilled and specialized. It turned out that i was paid more than the others and it freaked them out. I simply was able to do some things that their workers could not do and i rapidly proved that to be a fact. So out of the blue the company VP brought me a coffee machine and a stack of Playboy magazines. He said I was doing a great job and was aware that I had it all down to about one hour a day. He said i took on 100% of what I was expected to produce and not to do others work for them and sit back and have a nice day when my duties were complete. The funny part is that the workers could see my office and it really bit them in the rump to watch me drink coffee and read Playboys many hours every day.
Getting rid of phone numbers could get rid of bullshit phone sales people or so-called telemarketers, nonsense charities, and bill collectors. Since I uusally get several annoying such calls, every day, I think getting rid of phone numbers is a great idea.
It is a noble idea to address the root causes of terrorism. But can it be done? In the case of the Arab nations, there is a constant cultural pressure caused by being the crossing point of European, Asian and African cultures. Then we have the over- population vs. lack of resources conflict. And on top of that, we see educational levels of a population that are dismal. All of these factors take long periods of time to deal with if they can be dealt with at all. Long term solutions mean nothing when some group goes off of their nut and launches a drone with some sort of weapon attached.
Sadly I think, that the only method of controlling such evil is a delivery of a far greater and punitive evil. Usually, if people fear that consequences of an action will surely result in a great likelihood that they will suffer, their behavior will be more moderate.
Bringing this technology into common products, sounds to me that it might take decades. It would be a nice surprise if it can be useful sooner than I suspect.
I know of areas that I do not think a young person would survive if they walked there often. That includes high school age as well as younger children. And it is even more, true for female children.
Obviously, there are places and neighborhoods where walking is pretty darned safe but to pass laws which shield parents completely is not such a great idea. There are areas in south Florida that simply must not be walked through by young people.
So companies would face two paths. One path is that their products must meet French laws or maybe it would be better simply to not offer the products for sale in France.
It is obvious that individual nations, usually, must not be in a position of regulating foreign- made devices. Obviously some nations are off the wall, mad dog, crazy. Would you like Somalia determining how your cell phone is built?

Anything that hurts the insurance industry is a blessing.
