Why are text books in Muslim schools allowed to teach hatred of Christians and Jews? Normal Muslims and governments in the Arab regions need to remove radicals from positions of influence. When these folks are called to their Mosques why are they not instructed that they must love Jews and Christians and not apply religious laws to people outside of Islam? To my eye it seems that governments and normal Muslims are supporting the radicals. Why do the families of terrorists not turn in family members?
The US should also have a sizable military force surrounding our reactors. It is one way that terrorists could cause major harm that persists for centuries. I live in a hot climate and the kids simply could not play outdoors during the day. Many of their homes also had no air conditioning or had problems with enough money to pay electric bills. The effect was that almost year round the kids were on their bikes and doing whatever they could to not be bored silly. Some were very dangerous while others were simply poor kids playing. Obviously it is illegal to have kids roaming about in the wee hours when they are as young as eight years and very much at risk in ghetto areas. How can cops deal with this sort of thing?

We have a huge issue with surface, high speed trains in Florida. There are plans to build an obnoxious express train from Miami to Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando which would disrupt many other towns as they intend to run 35 high speed trains a day through these smaller towns. We have flat land and an ideal place to drill tunnels. What would be required is about 220 miles of high speed train tunnels in pretty much a straight line. The one issue that i do see is parking lots large enough to hold the thousands of cars that the train passengers would take to the rail head. Tampa to Orlando would be a smaller path and could be built with less expense.

There have already been boats built with 3D printing and I'll bet someone 3D prints an airplane in the near future. Automobiles with frames and bodies built by 3D printing are a distinct possibility. The displacement of human labor is accelerating rapidly. Yet US society has done nothing in preparation of the negative effects on the population. It makes no sense at all to wait until chaos is at hand to start reforming social practices to accomodate permanently displaced workers.
Who has answers? Obviously we do need better ways to catch and confine criminals and we also need better ways to tune these people up and make them normal members of society. Punishment simply does not work. On the other hand we have a government with a very long history of wrong doing when we give them any legal powers at all. The FBI has a perverse history. The CIA has gone nuts at times and the NSA seems to have no bounderies. And on top of that local cops are often operating outside the law with the backing of local governments. And it is not that local cops are just after people of minority races. There is some poorly defined Ozzie and Harriet factor that causes cops to want to control anyone that is unlike Ozzie and Harriet in their life style. As a matter of fact a cop's entire world is controlling other peoples' behaviours. It gets to the point where cops can't turn it off. they go off duty and still think they exist to set the behaviour of everyone around them. It is the order part of law and order that is the issue. The cops look for usual and common behaviours whereas different cultures have entirely different modes of behaviour. There was a ghetto near where I worked and it was quite common to see black kids out on their tiny bicycles at three or four AM. I live in a hot climate and the kids simply could not play outdoors during the day. Many of their homes also had no air conditioning or had problems with enough money to pay electric bills. The effect was that almost year round the kids were on their bikes and doing whatever they could to not be bored silly. Some were very dangerous while others were simply poor kids playing. Obviously it is illegal to have kids roaming about in the wee hours when they are as young as eight years and very much at risk in ghetto areas. How can cops deal with this sort of thing?
Being nice is a valuable ability. Being unable to be nice is a serious disability. It is not such an unusual disability at all. Criminals often suffer large doses of this problem and reach out and touch someone without any thoughts of mercy or decency. Internally they are at war with their own primate nature.
Christianity had a great deal to do with the downfall of the Roman Empire. It can be difficult to get soldiers to raid, rape and plunder neighboring nations when they start believing in Christ.
How about a law that forces phone salesmen, charities and bill collectors to have a prefix to their numbers such that any phone can block 100% of those calls before the phone rings? Put teeth in the law such that anyone trying to bypass the law not only gets bankrupted but also spends time in a federal prison.
Every time there is some little incident of terrorism the public starts soiling their panties and begging politicians to do something. Frankly I find it disgusting. Frankly one's chances of being hurt by an act of terror in the US are so small that it approaches zero risk. Size limits the amount of risk. Other than emotion the US is so large that it would take a huge number of terrorists to do great enough harm to make us capitulate to any demands. Hitler found out quickly that terrorism brings forth retaliation capable of destroying a nation. The Arab nations had best sober up as at some point they will be seriously squashed if they do not hunt down terrorists in their own nations. Hitler dreamed of taking over the US and Canada. So how many German soldiers would it take to have one soldier per square mile covering Canada and the US? That soldier would make one heck of a target and trying to supply him with food, water and bullets would be impossible.
We have a huge issue with surface, high speed trains in Florida. There are plans to build an obnoxious express train from Miami to Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando which would disrupt many other towns as they intend to run 35 high speed trains a day through these smaller towns. We have flat land and an ideal place to drill tunnels. What would be required is about 220 miles of high speed train tunnels in pretty much a straight line. The one issue that i do see is parking lots large enough to hold the thousands of cars that the train passengers would take to the rail head. Tampa to Orlando would be a smaller path and could be built with less expense.
