Google is the best because of the no-nonsense search. Nothing is gross looking, there's not ads everywhere. These other companies are missing the mark. Google is simple, fast, and correct. That is why people love it.
I looked into doing the same thing, it's true. Most of the people suggested overwriting all contact lists on the server with a list of all users. Of course, if your users add anyone on another transport or anything, it will be neatly overwritten. This is a KILLER feature, and I hope it gets added soon.
1) All over the mall 2) Up and down your street, in trees, etc. 3) In your neighbor's house
I think the FCC will be one of the last places to complain. Much like joining the army, when you decide to live on campus, you agree to lose certain rights. Deal with it.
So I guess we should just start bombing North Korea (mistreatment of citizens, mass famine). After then, might as well hit up Cuba (dirty commies).

Removing the Quicktime task is really pretty simple.
1) Find qttask.exe 2) Rename or delete.
Disable Real's SmartCenter by right-clicking on the real icon in your system tray (bottom right hand corner of the Windows screen) and select Disable Smartcenter.
I always thought the worst part about VAX/VMS was the ODS-2(?) filesystem's limitation of no more than 5 (or 6?) nested subdirectories. Of course, you could (and do) get around this with logicals. There's some things that there's simply no equivalent to in *NIX world.
I like unix because when i move, I just take a tar of my home directory and cp it to the new machine. Magically, all my preferences and files are saved. Zippin up C:\Documents and Settings\ just doesn't do it for me.
I use Snort all the time. The only thing I really get false positives for in great numbers are portscans, but even that is easily tweakable in the config file. I'd rather see one too many security alerts than one too few.
I think the real problem is brand recognition. They want people to be able to recognize Java2, Java 1.5, and Java 5.0.
I wonder if we'll see J5SE soon?

New words of the day:
moneky
bloging
Moneky bloging!
"depreciates rapidly, produces excessive polution, consumes too much gas, and is more likely to get into an accident."
Doesn't a teenager do all of these things too?
I would be very sad if I had an eMachine at my desk.
"Instead, if you want the movie and the extra's, you HAVE TO buy it twice."
Stop whining. No one is holding a gun to your head. If you are SURE that these versions are coming out why do you NEED to buy the inferior ones first?

You might even say you don't own your dorm room!
So you would say a PC company like, say, Dell, did worse than Apple? I dunno on that one...
"regulated by a body that is not the FCC"
Try and put 802.11b/g hot spots:
1) All over the mall
2) Up and down your street, in trees, etc.
3) In your neighbor's house

What is the name of the dock running in a few of the screen shots? It looks a lot like OS X, is it just kicker reskinned or something?
you can add the remote share into fstab as a user mount, coupled with smbmount that should be fine.

Hardly "digging".
What's the difference between advertising supported software which gathers marketing demographics and spyware?
Sweet sweet kickbacks to Yahoo, that's what.

Check this out: good stuff, client-server port of zdoom, still actively maintained. Very nice. ZDaemon

They must be talking about Duke Nukem Forever!

You can rip off most people once. However, you can do good business with someone forever. How many ex-Altavista users are out there?
If you like that, try this: Fractmus 2000 (win32)
Is this the article that is supposed to make me feel better about not having defrag in OS X?
