Don't use this build! I downloaded it, instantly all my programs were segfaulting. I got bus errors all over the place, my RAID arrays are failing, and my ethernet device will only work in half-duplex now. I advise everyone to wait until the final release, unless you want to have ECC errors with your RAM, like I do now.
I see that this post had much better spelling... good work... have a cookie. In this day and age of spellcheckers, having as many spelling errors as you is pretty ingornent!
The first thing that strikes me is there is a demand for `Build support for Continous Save and Revert into the toolbox.'
Of course, there is an attempted save by saying: "Add very short term batteries or tantalum capacitors to systems with volatile memory with enough power to dump the memory to disk and go into hibernation, perhaps 30 to 45 second worth."
Riiiight, I'm real sure a Pentium 4 can use any reasonably sized battery in like 10 seconds. Why not just spend some decent money and buy a UPS? A UPS SOLVES this problem.
Graphics, physics were awesome.
Single player is also totally awesome.
Everything looks great and feels really fluid.
Bad:
Where's the rest of the SDK?!!
NO DEATHMATCH?!?!
The ending... sorry, I just thought the last 2 chapters were REALLY boring. The ending reminds me of the ending of the 2nd Matrix movie.
I would have used gmail more, but it's annoying having to load up the site. PLUS it was annoying not being able to get a mail count without downloading some off the cuff utility. POP3 is no IMAP, but it is a good start and shows that Google really DOES have a good corporate mindset.
Really? You could mount an 'rsync' volume transparently from Windows, and then read/write files? That would be an amazing piece of technology, but I'm pretty sure it's not possible with rsync today.
I think he was a little confused... in Win32 cookies are stored in a folder named Cookies and all have filenames like 2342345j2h34i52uh34i25uh4@www.yoursite.com
Maybe he's using cygwin on Windows? Then locate would display that behavior.
He could have written a really good ANTI spam program. Of course, writing Fahrenheit was the LAST LAST LAST LAST thing he did. The malnutrition was already starting to set in as he was writing it (tearfully).
PearPC was first and is slow as all hell. Try it yourself. Install times of 10 hours(!) for OS X are expected. Of course, CherryOS looks like vaporware and has ridiculous claims like 80% speed in emulation, so I guess it's about even.

Robotic boobies.
A robo b00b, if you will.
See, even Microsoft gets to say ME TOO sometimes.
Future predictions for Windows features:
Expose
Tabbed Browsing in IE out of box
Rendezvous
Dashboard
We don't even be needing a grammar check anyway.

I've read most of this thread, and I've seen plenty of people mention Adblock, but the best solution to blocking stupid ads is Privoxy.
"I am a COBOL programmer from the '80s"
No wonder no one can get a job! We have to compete with guys from the 80s!
If they mix random stuff, I hope they have a hell of a blast shield there!

What is a floppy disk?
"The tobacco farmers are responsible, the tobacco companies are responsible, the UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT is responsible."
Good thing there's no such thing as personal responsibility...
Go ahead and try it. I dare you. It won't work.
