Normal firmware updates are essentially non-consensual, so I don't get what is to sensationalize about pushing point releases as well as big updates over the PSN.
Disclaimer: I don't own a PlayStation 3, but I am fairly certain you don't have the option of running old firmwares, you're forced to upgrade anyway if you want to play any games.
No, this is totally incorrect. T-Mobile and Sprint in the US both provide truly unlimited data. On Sprint, for example, I used 50GB a month for a few months on the 3G network before I bought a Clear 4G subscription.
This is mostly correct, but you neglect to mention "kuso" is often used as a prefix in order to profane a word. For example, "baba" is like "granny" but "kusobaba" is like "hag."
At their best, they can produce a momentary sense of gratification shortly followed by a need for more. There's no lasting joy, meaning, or well-being to be found in them.
Brother, that's life. Period. Get your ephemeral joy in because there is no other kind of happiness to be had.
Many of us have more than a handful of friends, dozens of family members, and dozens more people that are not close friends from school but ARE people we still care about enough to derive happiness from sharing our lives with, even quite indirectly. Using a 'social' network of any sort -- be it Facebook, AIM, e-mail, IRC, MySpace, ICQ, GChat, Twitter -- is nothing more than an extension of direct communication, and implies that you actually care about being 'social.' If you don't care about being 'social,' instead maintain a personal website as a matter of pretense, and then declare every new communication paradigm that passes you by in life as a 'fad,' then you're in the sad minority of Luddite hermits.
Sounds like you're claiming that genetic diversification does not occur through spontaneous mutation during recombination and that mutated DNA does not make it into offspring when breeding.
The shortest path between any two configurations (be them solved or not) on a graph of all possibilities will be no greater than 20.
This only guarantees a shortest path of length 40.
If the "solved" state lies on the path then it is no more than 20 to it from one configuration, and no more than 20 from it to the second configuration.
What makes you think there is anything special about the "solved" state other than that it can be encoded with very little information (only one color showing per side)?
I'm doing my bit to push up the average. I used about 55GB last month on a Sprint 3G smartphone plan and think replacing my DSL with using my phone instead was a great decision. It's only $70-$80 a month for such a nice plan, too.
Not a whole lot that can go wrong in a car with only minimal computer control. The brakes are mechanical work, the throttle is mechanical, the transmission is mechanical in terms of drive/neutral/park. The computer probably controls valve timings and stuff, but nothing to remote start/stop the car and nothing that's going to send me flying into a brick wall at top speed.
Wow, you think brilliant code is maintainable and mediocre code is readable? Too bad no one fired you from your job before you totally fucked up the developer staff there, I guess.

How the fuck does a swimming pool have a polarity?
The uptime top(1) showed in the movie was like six days.
Maybe you used to put up with that, but my 486 systems tended to get an AMD processor running at 133MHz or 150MHz instead.
It holds back the minivan's powertrain at full throttle MANY TIMES OVER.
Yep.

Your fault for propagating its mythical vulgarity unto him.

The Japanese language does not really have swear words, either, other than the universal "kuso" (which is like "shit".)

1080p support on most electronics actually refers to "output" and not selfsame screen resolution

Weezer was a popular band in the mid-90s. They were an obvious choice for a tech demo.

Why?
It is said because he doesn't care about communicating with friends enough to keep up with modern communication trends.
Wow, nice projection. You just extrapolated from your failure to learn significantly from public schools to the ENTIRE COUNTRY.
Nice to see that idiot moderators are mixing up "Insightful" and "Flamebait".
Why do you seem to think digital cellular uses bits as symbols?
Do you live in homes for less than five years?

roflcakes? or were you trying to be serious?
Use plasma displays like many of us do?
