Once he really had to start to apply himself at university he was unable to. He didn't have that work ethic or drive. Has pretty much done nothing with his life.

Not being harsh but you should actually read one of those history books instead of seeing them. Once Germany failed to conquer the USSR in 1941 it was game over for them. The only thing that the allies did by invading Europe in 1944 was ensure that western Europe wasn't occupied by the Russians. I'm not sure what this steamrolling of Western Europe means since they had already done that in 1940. America was certainly decisive in ensuring that D Day happened and western Europe was liberated but Germany was always going to be defeated by the Russians once they failed to land the knockout blow. I've always wondering that if they had captured Moscow wether it would have one the war for them.

I got offered a similar deal with 5% rather than 10% with a small fast growing company. While I liked the company and the job was interesting I had been thinking of moving to a larger city where a lot of my friends had moved. I ended up taking the deal. What the 5% gave me was a nice bonus at the end of each year plus more input into the direction of the company. While I wasn't on the board I was still consulted about all the decision and projects. We also ended up getting aquired so it was a nice pay day at the end of it which helped to buy a house. Looking back I made the correct decision to stay even though it was a difficult decision to make at the time. If overall you like the job and you think the company is worth working for, having a financial stake in it can make a difference. I found that it really motivated me. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

It would only turn on the DVD player and Stereo. This works well normally but sometimes if you turn a device on by hand eg by opening the DVD tray, then the remote will think that the device is off when it's on. It mainly means that you should always use the remote or remember to turn the device off. I can't speak highly enough of the harmony remote. It's very girlfriend friendly and it's awesome to hit 'Watch DVD' and watch all the devices come on to the correct inputs.
