Don't forget homophobic! I remember back in the day when linux was the alternative OS for people with alternative lifestyles. I guess GLBT crowd went mac and linux was overtaken by jocks and religious types. And with Android, Linux may have "won" but the loser wasn't Microsoft, it was Linux users. I say it's time to bring the glory (hole) back to linux. June 9th (that's 6/9) should be Hug your LUG day -- a day when linux users can go to their Linux User Group and have some good old fashioned gay sex.

Because most web programmers are retards with goldfish level awareness of the past and don't realize they're trying to reinvent the wheel, only this time with more square. But it's asynchronous (aka cooperative multitasking) so that makes it better, somehow.

And it lets you take a snapshot and upload it to twitter, facebook, instagram. Video can even be uploaded to youtube! Anyone interested in our early beta program, look us up at hairy-beavr.info!

According to sources, Google code hosting will get killed off early next year. Go (the language) is moving to git and github, which also hosts most (if not all) of Google's other open source code.

Who could imagine that source forge would outlast them! Of course, I'm not sure why source forge is still a thing, either. Maybe the domain is set to auto-renew and nobody noticed the bill.

Yeah... but then again, the city council passed a medical marijuana statute in 2010 (first dispensary opened in 2013) and Congress didn't do anything. The best part is - there's a subsidy for anyone with an income up to 2x the poverty level. (Not from the government coffers (meaning your wallet) but from dispensaries (meaning your wallet iff you buy weed)).

Now, I'm 100% in favor of legal marijuana (The slashdice corporate position is that the federal government lacks the authority to regulate it) but I wonder what subsidy advocates are smoking when their argument for a subsidy is that most medical marijuana users are poor and don't have a job.

PS: plant some herb for arbor day. Even if you don't smoke, it's a beautiful plant, easy to grow (like a weed, you might say) and helps the environment and shit.
