You know, someone is going to need to take one for the team, and go "educate" our leaders about all things dealing with electricity. I say someone, because whenever we get down to the discussion of whom, it's always somebody else...
Well, the US military plays for keeps, and while NK is figuring out how to build / launch nukes, the US Navy is testing out its shiny new rail gun...
And that's just the stuff the military feels like showing off. We probably have some bombs, in Area 51, that do "things" that most PhD-level Physicists / Chemists would have trouble grasping, let alone the military guards laughing about a small plane dropping a single bomb like that would do any damage...
Reinstalling Gentoo tonight, and both the SAS and Ultra320 controllers are out as we try to flash them to a later version of their firmware, but here's some (horrible) shots of the hardware:
It's not easy getting an Alpha to boot from a SSD, but with enough patience, it can be done. It's also not easy getting said Alpha to support USB 3.0, SAS, a Radeon HD card (with HDMI output), etc....but it can be done.
God willing, I will have Half-Life up and running on this machine sometime later this year.
"They also took advantage of the government's investment into infrastructure namely, roads, court systems, etc.. They should be required to pay their fair share of taxes just like everyone else."
Honesty here is the best policy. Haarp isn't used for mind control; it's used for talking to the aliens. The mind control stuff is employed in a more controlled fashion.
"In a statement, Verizon said: "Because our network is a shared resource and we need to ensure all customers have a great mobile experience with Verizon, we are notifying a very small group of customers on unlimited plans who use an extraordinary amount of data that they must move to one of the new Verizon Plans by August 31, 2016.""
Try upgrading your networks. It's what every network admin worth their salt inevitably does, because it works. Traffic spike? Sure, trace it, maybe limit it if it's questionable or unwanted, block it if it's illegal, etc., etc. However, as a general rule, taxes will rise, as must network capacity -> anyone here complaining that 10/100 network is perfectly fast enough, and Gig-E is overkill, would be laughed at for eons. In a few years, 10 Gig-E, or 100 Gig-E will be the norm.
What more, if I remember correctly, Verizon has received kickbacks, tax reductions, etc. to help them finance upgrades for their networks so that this would never be an issue. I could check Verizon's financial performance over these past ten years, then look into their book-keeping (Hollywood accounting), but me thinks they have not been running at a loss. So...in the black + gifts from the US / State / Municipal governments + not upgrading their equipment = a lot of spare dosh. Has Verizon issued some dividends, or should we be looking at embezzlement charges?
At the very least, failure to use working capital correctly (maintaining / growing the business, by buying the equipment that allows them to keep / expand their dominance in their current area) is a failure of corporate duty, and a reason for someone to be fired.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with expending all your chaff during a dogfight so the AI no longer has a definite lock on your fighter (& its orientation), leaving you with some chances at pegging the cheating bastard.
They don't learn, do they? L'il Bobby Tables & friends it is then. They're probably running some version of Oracle on the backend, so keep that in mind while you are registering your new completely legitimate social media account names expressly for this use.
And it has nothing to do with the lack of storage space on currently shipping, top of the line devices...such as Samsung's Galaxy S7, whose makes think that USAsians only really need 32GB of on board storage space, and Europeans / other parties might want just a tiny bit more in the form of 64GB of storage. True, you can use a MicroSD card to increase storage, but it's not Android storage...unless you use a hack / enable that special feature, at which point, you lose the ability to transfer files to and from the phone the MicroSD slot (as the slot / card is now 'welded' together, so far as Android is concerned). As a bonus, on this particular model, it's dual SIM, or SIM + microSD...so, still juggling stuff if you go abroad.
We have 10TB HDs, 2TB SSDs, 200 GB microSDs...and the equivalent of 640KB or 8GB of RAM as storage space as the shipping standard for Android devices. "No one is downloading any more apps!" -> "Plants vs. Zombies 2 eats like 1 GB of storage space on my phone!"
That's because you hide all the good European stuff from us Americans. I mean, sure, some stuff makes it over here...but most of the time, it requires some real work to get anything out of you guys.

And I want the various members of the FBI to read the US Constitution, and anyone who snorts or giggles during or immediately after doing so to be summarily banned from being a part of that organization.

But we've always been at war with Eastasia...
Golgafrinchans are seen clutching tightly their leaves...
Hacking, the new gateway drug...
Funny you should say that, that's how theoretical physicists act when experimentalist physicists are made to share the same room...
Nano, like everyone else when they are trying to get work done, and aren't trying to preen their tail feathers.
So, what are we all running from?

I bought from some guys out of the back of a white van (eBay). In Rochester, NY as it happens, so I suppose I got one of RIT's old machines...

A finish line which has been seen to move...

In a word, yes.
"The fact you're not going to make any money, doesn't get you out of contracts."
Actually, according to contract law...

If you're a member, it kind of is...(little by little that cocaine seems to disappear from the evidence locker).

Whatever, Skynet.
I'd go with a QR code that's a SQL string ala Lit'l Bobby Tables.
Finally a chance to put my fake tattoo system into production.
