This is largely a solved problem -- a good percentage of women in developed countries elect to deliver via cesarean section.
You use that word "elect". I don't think it means what you think it means.
AFAIK most gynecologists – in this country[1] anyway – let a woman elect caesarian section. A C-section is only proscribed when the woman has failed to deliver after a prolonged labor or there are other risk factors, e.g. they've already had a C-section for a prior pregnancy.
Why would you even consider sea water? SEA WATER! It is just so fucking stupid! What the fuck?!
Well, for one thing, electrical current flows better through water with a bit of salt. Chemistry FTW. (Current won't flow at all, e.g., through pure or distilled water.)
Considering they're using hydrolysis to make the hydrogen, and hydrolysis isn't necessarily a fast process, it probably does make sense to create it semi-continuously and store it.
And you know what, compressed hydrogen just really isn't that dangerous. Gasoline is far more explosive, and a gasoline leak is lots more dangerous than a hydrogen leak because gasoline pools, whereas hydrogen just dissipates into the atmosphere.
Yes, the Hindenburg looked bad. In reality everyone who didn't jump walked away unscathed.
..., Microsoft hopes to attract a greater number of developers, and a wider variety as well.
Good luck. I've worked – professionally, both directly and indirectly – on a couple different open source projects. They all had (and still have) lots of users.
But growing the list of active developers from outside the core cadre of devs? Next to impossible.
If they're open sourcing it to get more active development, I expect they've got a tough row to hoe.
I'm more inclined to think they're just not funding development and this is a desperation move.
Considering there are billion dollar high rises right next to slums I could care less.
Maybe there are billion Rupee high rises. I'm pretty sure building costs and property values have not reached billion (US) dollar level yet.
And be my guest, go ahead and care less. I'll get the popcorn.
When I wear a watch at all, I wear it on my left wrist. I type ATM PIN codes with my right hand (because I'm right handed. And most lefties I know wear their watches on their right wrist.)
But if I ever do get a smartwatch, I'll definitely make sure I don't wear it on my right wrist.
The transportation issue is solved. It's a fat DC line across the Mediterranean. And a grid stretching across the Sahara to deliver the power to the DC line. And enough capacity in the grid where the DC line is connected to Europe. (In Italy?) Well, it's all solved except for the cost.
And why not wind too? They aren't mutually exclusive. It would provide some power at night time. I believe the Sahara is a pretty breezy place. Am I wrong?
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.
Said nobody, ever!
However someone did say something similar: "First they ignore you. Then they ridicule you. And then they attack you and want to burn you. And then they build monuments to you."
You can find plenty of evidence that Gandhi never said or wrote the above. Just google it. E.g. here's one http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/P...

Yeah. Getting a Ford or GM from Mexico takes times. If you want a Nissan, Honda, or Toyota, well, those plants are all in the US. Hell, all three of those are within day-trip distance for me.
Buy Honda. Buy American.
Toyotas, Hondas, and Nissans built in North American plants aren't imports, right?
And off hand I'm not sure why anyone would want to special order a low-end, cookie cutter car like the Aveo.
Well, you can order the car with everything exactly the way you want. You just need to find a cooperative dealer. And then be prepared to wait. For an import you might have to wait six to nine months to get it.
And I suppose you could spend $500+ to fly to the factory. And then gas to drive it home plus hotels and meals along the way. Or you could pay the $800+ delivery charge.

I recognize English may not be your native language,.
Do you? Then you'd be mistaken, as English is my native language you fscking poltroon. You call me nitpicky but then nitpick yourself. Bite me.
Yes, in general navy bases in towns called "Port " do tend to have access to water... Not a lot of naval bases in the middle of deserts!
I suggest you look up the US Naval Air Stations at China Lake, California, and at Fallon, Nevada . (China Lake is a dry lakebed.)

Nicer than the average 20-something has.
Yes, I know that not everyone driving for Uber is a 20-something.
... of him shall be much required.
Doesn't seem like Apple is holding up their end of the deal.
If the average person had been smoking whatever it was, they'd have been locked up!

I'm sure a good lawyer can remind the Oompa Loompas about how the law works.
They haven't complained for ten years? IANAL but I'd say it's too late to complain now.
But that'll be for the courts to decide.
Or sloppy writing trying to pass as journalism?
Yes, I'm being snarky.
...Buys Assets and Staff...
How does that work exactly?
Either they bought the company, in which case the employees – who are not slaves – may elect to stay on.
Or they extended job offers...
Or is this just sloppy journalism?
...don't want to replace Brace Syntax with Python-style indentation. They don't want to change boolean operators from && and || to 'and' and 'or'.

Why did they think Swift would be any different?
I had a couple people on FB wish me happy birthday today.
But it's not actually my birthday. (Nor do I display my birthday on FB).
Why would you add different versions of Windows together if you're not adding different versions of iOS or Linux together?
They are! Did you even glance at the article?
I wonder how much overlap there is between the Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, and OpenSuSE counts?
And nothing for RHEL or CentOS? Good to know.

Might as well just release the other 65M records so we can collect the whole set.
