Then you are free to produce as much noise as you like within the confines of your home. Projecting that noise into my home is pollution. Silence cannot be projected. It is the default value. Is this really so hard to understand? Instead of noise, imagine it is billowing clouds of smoke. Say I was burning leaves in my yard, and that smoke enters your home. Good, now you see the problem with preventable noise.

The odds of ET is unknown. Our feeble attempts to find them don't factor into those odds at all.

True, but that was under Jobs. Love him or hate him, that guy was an innovator. What has Apple done since on that scale? They are drifting, simply making their existing tech bigger and faster. The watch has been dismal and the new iPad is a reaction to a competitor. This is not the Apple of old, and it's unwise to gauge their future performance by those past metrics.

It absolutely is the result of Carly's actions. People were shrieking warnings about that fucked up HP/Compaq merger. Once it was completed and the first cracks started appearing she was forced out by the board of directors. Well her actions have come home to roost. This is the great unwind of her grand plans, with tens of thousands losing their jobs. Oh yeah, real great leadership there Carly. You might want to remove this one from your LinkedIn profile.
