    You should demand that your local politicians fix the courts. Then you can have nice things again.

  2. And also, relatively higher human intelligence is not selected-for. Once one gets a bit above average intelligence (for either gender), the smarter one is, the less likely one is to breed.

    So, a gene that keeps one's intelligence limited to normal levels will have a selective advantage.

    Ok, but while that may be the case for the past few generations, it doesn't change the fact that for thousands of years of human evolution, higher intelligence has been a good thing. It's what got us to the top of the food chain.

    Well, Obama had to bail out the banks that Dubya let dump on the economy.

    So the ten-year 'cost' of Trump's tax cuts is $1TN, so what? That's $100BN/yr, and it stimulated the economy.

    Did it? Corporations are back to laying of workers again and any "stimulation" of the economy is over. Tax cuts, however, are still in effect, just snowballing the debt.
