i had classes with 60-200 students at a name-brand private university. must be nice to have 9 participants with webcams aimed at their faces, so nobody can get away with reading the newspaper during class.
A successful terrorist doesn't necessarily need to join a club. Look at the villains our vast comic-book history: they're almost all scarier when they act alone and not as part of some terror franchise.
Nadella is a puppet as long as Gates and Ballmer on on the board of directors. And I'm not sure Bill would have allowed a true renegade to take over the CEO position anyway.
authors of books on CD aren't being compensated in this frivolous lawsuit. plus they're assuming Ford and GM owners are guilty without showing any credible evidence that a single user is responsible for ripping content illegally. and how many songs fit on a hard drive? i bet dollars to donuts that most of the included hard disks are over 50% empty.
it's silly for the state to jump in and spend so much time, effort, and money on what is essentially a failure of business to demonstrate to people that their content is worth purchasing. free market rules, y'all
I've worked with Apple gear since 1984, and have worked for 3 Apple VARs. I've only seen 3 power supplies go bad in what, 25 years? Sounds like you need to run some kind of power conditioner / UPS to prevent the strain on your power supplies.
That's kind of like the Microsoft Windows Experience Index that is provided by Windows Vista / Windows 7 which gives a score based on CPU, RAM, GPU, and hard disk speed. Not entirely useful but gives beta-level nerds something to talk about at the water cooler. http://windows.microsoft.com/e...
At work my desktop computer is a Pentium E6300 with a 6.3 rating on the CPU and an overall 4.8 rating due to the crappy graphics chipset. At work my laptop computer is an i3-2010M with a 6.4 rating on the CPU and an overall 4.6 rating due to the crappy graphics chipset.
A compression algorithm rated by speed and compression ability would have to weight the speed vs. the compression, right?
Didn't Apple create an app for schools / educators / kids that would allow them to create content for the iPad ON the iPad? Samsung and Amazon treat their devices as content consumption only, and that's a weakness of the Android platform.
China already builds spyworthy Cisco networking gear, why would they have to ask Apple for access?

Ballmer was a wizard at making money by cranking up licensing, and losing money on hardware (RROD anyone?)
well if you're looking for a biometric that stops working when you're dead, then a penis size based reader would be the perfect choice.
If DARPA doesn't like passwords, they shouldn't use them. But that shouldn't have any bearing on us puny civilians.
Let's oxygenate the water by building floating roombas that circulate air into the water, like tiny fountains.

Instead, I recommend that drugs be tested on Pharmaceutical company CEOs. I liked it so much, I bought the company. Or the farm.

you can't buy custom-built machines as a walk-in customer; that's an order that's processed over the internet.

Also, you asked 49 people? What a statistically insignificant number. Way below the margin of error. come back when you have a sample size of 10,000.
