    a lot of the big prediction sites have been predicting the kansas city royals to be average to poor the last few years. so far they have been to the world series twice and are in first place in their division this year. all with average to slightly above average mainstream stats but if you look at them they built a team using a team strategy instead of simply signing guys and looking at individual stats

  19. yes, and there is a monthly fund, a pot of money amazon dedicates to pay authors depending on what was read. 1.upload crappy books 2.pay poor people to "read" them 3. ? 4. PROFIT $$$$$$ long time ago i set up a kindle alert on fatwallet and slickdeals and every day it's crappy books that are "free" that get advertised

    you still need a phone. wired internet plus home phone is the same as several phones plus the service for a family and most people have better things to do than stare into netflix, youtube or torrent crap they won't watch or listen to for hours at a time

    kids bought the music. most adults i knew had old collections from their youth and hadn't bought anything for a long time while their kids were buying the music

    30 some years ago most people only listened to the radio and never bought albums. music streaming is the same thing. except for a few decades, most artists have made money by touring and playing live. i don't get this infatuation with the idea that some people should release a work of art and then be able to sit home and collect money off it.
