A major issue of creating "smart links" (even though these aren't exactly the same as smart links) is one of trust. Can we trust Google that they aren't going to take advantage of us with a feature like this? Well, just look at their track record, where they consistently go above and beyond what consumers expect and set a new standard in user-friendliness.
Why should Google treating its users with respect and consistently creating a quality product be worth nothing? This article sounds like it is using the logic of an eight year old.
Microsoft is the company known for being a big bully who uses its position of power to cram things down its users throats. It is the opposite of Google. This is why the reaction is different, and perfectly valid as well.
I am also much less inclined to trust Microsoft's search engine, Microsoft's maps, etc. than anything Google puts out there.
Hahaha! Wicked burn. But seriously, you already convinced me who you are with your last reponse. You don't need to keep this up just for my further entertainment.
Are you just one of those people who refuses to ever concede *anything*?
No, you are, because FORD WASN'T BLACK BEFORE! Sheesh, stop trying to nitpick your way into justifying the absurb possibility that they had miscast him the first time around. ... *frothing at the mouth* etc. etc. *something about... "wanker talk"?*
Okay, you are one of those people. Just making sure.
black people don't actually have black skin. They're brown.
MOST are. I've met really black people, it's surprising.
Are you just one of those people who refuses to ever concede *anything*? Unless you are trying to say that Mos Def is one of these black people who is "really black", then your point really doesn't apply at all, does it?
Hmm, the way I remember it was different too. I had registered my copy of SoundJam on OS 9 and absolutely loved it. Then when OS X first came out, a carbon beta of SoundJam quickly came out for it. Then it mysteriously disappeared from downloading, with some vague explanation from C&G. When iTunes was released, it was very obvious that it was made from SoundJam, but with a number of features stripped out. Also, I remember that you didn't have the same player that you could skin, and that really annoyed me.
I don't know what SoundStep is, and certainly SoundJam was ready for market long ago... it was reviewed in MacWorld, it was a popular product.
Yes, and this is completely honest here, the puck mouse was designed so that mousing could be done with the fingers and a stationary palm, rather than using the whole hand. And if you get used to using the puck mouse a little bit, it is convenient in that way. The biggest problem with it is that you can't easily tell if the mouse is pointed in the right direction without looking.
Yes, the show is animated! I will tell you this is 100% true. I thought at first the non-animated jab was actually referring to the fact that the animation was very shoddy compared to nowadays. But the show definitely is animated!!!
Doesn't guy wrote this know that at the time when a these 6 foot wonders were invented, there WAS NO ELECTRICITY !!. It runs on pure potential energy stored in weights.
I think it is safe to say he does, since he built a working grandfather clock, and probably didn't re-invent the mechanical design himself from scratch.
The interesting part is that it would be much harder to make a real grandfather clock (like the one at my ancestral home) - because Lego in comparison is easier to build.
For building the housing, this might be, but if you are limiting yourself to pure lego parts, there is a good deal of creativity involved in order to make a full-sized, functioning clock that is accurate without cheating.
You can also look at it as evolving in a new world. You are now able to survive in the world as we have changed it. So people like you belong because if your offspring down the line had the same condition then they would have an equal or better chance than you for survival. Of course, if society should ever crumble then a lot of people would probably not be up to the challenge genetically.

In four years MAYBE there will be a chance of that being considered, but before then (under Bush) there is no chance in hell. And who knows if Bush's replacement, whether that is a Republican or Democrat, would consider doing something like that either.
That game was great! Yes, it definitely had a special replay view where you could see it from all different angles (I think the computer decided the angles). I remember that was half the fun, watching the replays.
However, this statement makes no sense, because the point of the original poster's comment here was that it is hypocritical that Republicans want smaller government, and yet also want to have the government intrude and take away a woman's right to choose.
Wrong. Both parties are equally hypocritical, but in opposite ways.
That isn't "wrong". That really was the original poster's point, and the reply really didn't make sense in regards to that point. The rest of what you said is an opinion that isn't relevant to what I was explaining. I specifically said that although I disagree with pretty much everything else the replier said, those opinions weren't really something I was arguing to change.
Make an alternate sign that says, "The government should stay out of our lives!" and go protest in front of a welfare office, social security distribution center, IRS office, etc.
I disagree with most of what you had to say, but that kind of stuff is largely opinion. However, this statement makes no sense, because the point of the original poster's comment here was that it is hypocritical that Republicans want smaller government, and yet also want to have the government intrude and take away a woman's right to choose. As Democrats are the ones who generally are thought to believe in larger government than Republicans, there is no irony or hypocracy to their support of things like welfare and income tax.
Ross Perot was running as a third party and took substantial percentage for a third party candidate in 1992 and 1996. We're not talking a Nader 0-1% here.
You can't look at terrorism like Nazi Germany. Germany is a country, with cities you can bomb. What country is "terrorist country"? You can say that any country that harbors terrorists qualifies, but throughout the world, people have different views on who is a terrorist, and it is not a cut-and-dry thing to say a country harbors/supports terrorists.
I think the closest thing you could go by is to look at where the 9/11 hijackers came from. Maybe we should declare war on Saudi Arabia.
Really we should be going after the terrorists but also realizing that it isn't Good vs. Evil, it's the Powerful vs. the Desperate. Until we have a president who truly realizes the terrorists don't "hate us for our freedom", we're doomed to staying in the same situation forever.
Don't forget "Bitte im sitzen pinkeln" :)
Why in the world is this modded troll?
See? You just gave the history and now it makes sense! :D

Finally, both of us are laughing. (Right?)
Ahahahaha! Stop, you're killing me!
You win the Internets!

Well, that clarifies the company mismatch, but do you know what they might have meant with regards to the product not being ready for primetime?

Also, in the next major OS upgrade, the new version of Safari will have RSS. Could be a maximum of 6 months for that though.

Also, there's the episode where they say "shit" over 100 times. That one gets played in primetime and has been on in reruns as well.

Yup, you've got it right. One dollar.
