Or you could just get a deck that outputs a pre-amped line signal instead of a phono signal or a deck that outputs SPDIF (Numark TTX1s can do line, phono, and SPDIF, for example.)
Now all Linux applications will have bloated packages EVEN LARGER than their Windows counterparts, which definitely equates to better code! Now even OpenOffice can be shipped on two CDs!
I want more castle lego sets. I had one really badass set a few years ago and now I can't find it anywhere, even on ebay. I don't even know what it was called.:\

That's a message from Symantec Enterprise Firewall (Raptor Firewall.)
Its an SMTP proxy; if you try to connect to the firewall or an SMTP server on the far side of it on port 25 (or other configured ports) and there's no rule allowing it, you get this message.
Don't get me wrong; I realize that increased funding would come from the American taxpayer, but the headline of the/. article seems to be a complaint that they are 'selling out' for money.
Maybe if we gave the libraries more actual funding they wouldn't need to turn to good old-fashioned capitalism to raise the funds they need to stay current.
Diablo is an excellent RPG because it has swords, archery, dungeons and monsters.
Diablo and its ilk are hack-and-slash. You kill stuff, you get money, you get experience, you buy better equipment, you kill bigger things, you level up. Not that there is anything wrong with this, its just not roleplaying.
Real RPGs allow you to actually assume a role and play it out. Play Neverwinter Nights online some time with a good DM. Hell, play any decent tabletop RPG system, such as GURPS, D&D, possibly even Warhammer.
PS: I'm not saying all american DJ's are crap. We've got some good ones like Sandra Collins, Mark Farina, Danny Tenaglia, and such.
I'll give you Farina and Tenaglia, but Sandra Collins? I saw her live at a show here in Nashville a few months ago. Her track selection was crap. (And yes, I realize she plays progressive trance. It still sucked.)
I love it, my users love it, the rest of the IT support staff here loves it. It does use IIS and SQL Server, which might be outside the range of visible reality for some of you, but I have no such religious issues with IIS or SQL Server.
I was recently quoted in a WashingtonPost.com article saying I was in favor of fines against people who emit viruses or worms (not just originate, but infectees who perpetuate attacks.) There wasn't any meat in that article describing my proposal, so it comes off sounding kind of cold. I've had this proposal for quite some time, after being asked by a U.S. Senator staffer once to write something up to identify what's lacking in the U.S. National CyberSecurity Strategy document.
I've tried to explain it as clearly as I can, and have included a poll to take your feedback on whether you think the idea would be valuable to you. I'd appreciate it if you'd give it a read and take the poll.
I hereby acknowledge that the poll is hosted on my little T1, so you may well experience bandwidth-related fun. At least you only have to click two buttons to take the vote.
"Open" means non-proprietary, free for public perusal. This could mean open hardware specs, open source, open meetings, etc. "Open Source" means that the source code is freely available to the public. Why the hell do half the front-page stories that mention open hardware/open standards/open foobar use "Open-Source" and "Open" as if they mean the same thing? They don't, so STOP DOING IT.
I doubt you guys would want to see any of my fantasies in LEGO =X

Pigs are some of the most intelligent beings on our planet. Why do we kill them by the billions? Just to enjoy the transient pleasure of tasting their flesh?

If you're just wanting to play records for the sake of recording them, a belt-driven Numark 1550 will do you just fine. Less than $100.
Any decent DJ turntable can do all three standard speeds.

70 hz?
60 hz comes out of every wall socket I've ever seen here in Nashville..
You dumbass. Maybe he's running a personals service or something like that. Sites like match.com refer to their customers as 'members.'
I actually pondered putting a or tag on the post, but I then decided against it. Perhaps I should have.

No problem.

Is derriere REALLY that f'ing difficult to spell? If you can't even come CLOSE to spelling the word properly, DON'T USE IT.
Jesus christ, use m-w.com or something if you're not sure.
The Megabloks warship and aircraft series are cool, and the fantasy/dragon sets are badass!
.. that I would know, or anything.....
Not

... a book called Cisco Networking Simplified, you probably shouldn't be doing networking that you need to use Cisco products for.

Tiesto is also good, as far as beatmixing goes.
