young people were and some are in the workforce at much younger ages. thank you for agreeing with what I said. retard.

so you go and have your kids enter the workforce early. that's the exact opposite of what all the normal people want for their kids these days though.

now go ahead and argue with yourself some more.

your suggestion is a solution looking for a problem. and those who have the problem have always solved that problem. try getting out of your suburb once in a while and see the city and the world.

parents can make students get a job at 15 and not give them allowance. it works wonderfully, just need to somehow figure out how to allow them to balance the learning of social skills, work, and studying. unlike college, the stuff you learn in highschool you do actually need.

you can shift responsibility to highschool and have them ready. They'll still smoke grass and have most of their attention focused on chasing pussy (but not getting much pussy). it'll be much less grass and much less chasing though (same amount of getting).

the key word here is not "we" - it's "you". most parents don't do that, nor do they have a reason to. getting their kid prepared for the workforce as fast as possible is not a goal they have for their kids.

  3. Re:It's about time on Inside Peter Thiel's Genius Factory (backchannel.com) · · Score: -1

college is a waste of money for students. the reason having college degree helps people get their first job is age, not college. in fact, it usually doesn't matter if the degree is applicable to the job.

people out of high school are stupid little shits and will annoy the crap out of you and fuck up most things they have access to, while not admitting and learning from their mistakes. not only do I not want to hire those 17 year old morons, I don't really even want to hire them until they get their master's when they're 24-25 and have matured their mentality, not their skill set.

so no, college is not a waste of time. it's a lamb farm where they smoke grass and suck titties till all that bs is out of their system and they can behave professionally.

red is one kind of light. blue is another kind of light. microwaves are another kind of light.

I don't understand how someone could be so stupid to not understand the difference between "radio" and "radio waves". one is a thing. another is light. although if you really get into it, the radio is a wave as well as the radio waves.

wifi/radios/mobile phones use approximately around one frequency of light. hence making that "one kind of light". red blue and green use approximately another frequency of light. we call that another frequency of light. so we have the "radio frequency" type light, we have the "visible frequency" type light, we have the x-ray frequency type light, we have the gamma frequency type light, etc. none of that seems to eminate from you though - you're not very bright. only infrared seems to come from you. that's emitted by hot air.

umm, no, not what you said at all, and your "mostly pointing out" is not giving a major use case - it's not even a use case that exists. you give your suburban use case as the reason it won't happen in the city.

"Reason #1 it won't happen; families"

almost no families in the major city, and the few here don't have 4 kids. they have 1. the kid walks to school or takes the subway or bus. parking at $300/month at the highrise and $7/hr on the street. bridge tolls over ten bucks. Most cars you see in the city come from suburban drivers. The rest are used twice a month. People in the city would love to not have to keep a car around for those 2 times, and most already don't have cars. Cheap cabs like he proposes will make it completely not worth it.

and while your "urban area" definition is correct, it is technically correct. here in real life, urban means in the city, and not even the 3-story outskirts of the city. it means within a 2 minute walk of the subway. and the "technically correct" people who include a definition that's outdated and not used by anyone because they can't admit they not only didn't hit the mark with their argument, they embarrassed themselves. those people are just annoying. like you.
