    I doubt whether Clinton got played - politicians of any stripe don't want solutions, they just don't want things to fall apart on their watch. You can say the same for Obama, Bush, Bush, Reagan, Carter , etc.

    Yes, but with the economic growth now being stronger, it's likely these jobs are more private sector producing jobs rather than public sector make work, alas. Or at least, one could hope. Who knows, with the amount of lying that's been going on since the Labor Department lied for the Obama unemployment percentage.

    I'm over 50 and I remember when I was much younger, folks who had diabetes were immediately told to lose weight. And guess what ? Many of them no longer needed their meds. This is only a big watershed thing because we are now realizing you cannot use meds to counteract bad lifestyles.

    They might, be default, already have NAFTA - if they choose to inherit things that they had from the US. But that may not be the case. And yes, if Cali left many of us would be happy - and I'm not particularly conservative, I'm more libertarian. Too bad California IS incredibly leftist - at least within 50 miles of the coast.

    But cash would cost nothing...of course, goods must be in the shops and you must go there, so you've got to account for transport costs.

    What makes you think that prices will fall, even if the cost of producing things lowered by 90%?

  19. That's an interesting theory, but I've lived on the east coast - and people are quite different - not universally so, but I've never had a more miserable life dealing with cut-throat, lying people in east coast blue states.
