Quoted: "and perhaps serve as shared vehicles in lieu of individual vehicle ownership"
Um, this is called CAR POOLING and was pushed in the 1970s energy crisis.
Whether trump is sincere in what he is saying, I cannot say.
But most of the country is convinced, quite correctly, that where we are , and our direction, is destroying the Republic, destroying our wealth, and destroying western civilization.
Whether Trump's direction is any better than Obama's (you know, the guy who can't articulate any positive thing he thinks is worth doing except to say 'hope and change') I cannot say.
So when a social justice warrior does it, this is fine, but politics - notoriously the province of rough personal behavior, this is just terrible?
I'm sensing a real double standard here.
We aren't owed anything. Civilization is, if you like a "development platform." We have safe water, more or less low crime, and so on.
Our lives are the application we develop.
No, actually, they don't rinse the detergent out.
No,I do know how to use laundry equipment - and my Asko front loader DOES get the detergent out. The Whirlpool did not, nor did the (made for the US market) Bosch I had and return do that.
I've used front loading washing machines for over twenty years, that use little water and actually clean. Today's crop of machines for the US market don't.
Actually, no, they don't. They don't get the laundry detergent out of the water, and (by analysis which unfortunately I can't remember but can find if you're really interested) mostly don't clean, especially if you wash with cold water.
Perfumed laundry detergents are used in the US and elsewhere so folks think their clothes "Smell clean" when in reality they are dirty and merely smelling of perfume.
"Right" and "Left" as it is used is a tool to divide us.
THink of it it this way:
One side of the spectrum (call it 'right') believes in individual freedom and being free from government control.
The other side (call it 'left') believes in state control of everything.
By this definition Hitler and Stalin and Obama and Bush and Clinton are all leftists.

Oh but wait, civil libertarians and privacy advocates are "concerned!" There now, don't you feel better?
A college/university president is a "good" 1%er? Really?
And the CEO of a fortunate 500 company does not?
No, because it's a Democrat doing it! May they all crawl under rocks and die.
Um, Democrats are the intellectual heirs to Joseph Stalin so why is this surprising?
"Civil libertarians are concerned." Um, yeah.

fibre optics work better :)
Live in the real world.
Indeed. The solution is...don't use smartphones!
No, because the Democrats aren't yet whining that it's a vast, rightwing conspiracy.
It's directive 10-289, plain and simple.
As I said, we have an absolutely leftist government where all power is concentrated in the hands of the state - rather like the old soviet union.

No, they all want bigger government, all the time.
I was there and yes, it was called "Star Wars."
Yeah him and Scalia.
He's a lefty so that's not likely.

Not according to the leftist members of the US supreme court.
This. But that's okay "Privacy experts are concerned about this."
