This quote was acually sent to me after I sent a manager a quote for some new software:
"Is the annual maintenance cost something we will need tp pay every year?"
I love that. It reminded me of Mad Magazineand "Stupid Answers to Stupid Questions" We had fun time trying to come up with really nice answers to that question......
toilet: You seem to be sitting on me. May I assist you in any way? Can I get you: Toilet paper to wipe yourself? A magazine to read? A towel to swim with your friends?
You "BOY" come over here and show me all the ins-and-outs of this machine so I can get rid of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay boss, let's see, hmmmmmmm this is an "ENTER" key it is like "return" on your old typewriter. Okay, that's all there is to know. Oh, and dont forget about the firewall. Scares 'em every time. "Firewall????????????" Yeah, dont worry it's Linux based software and easy to pick up.... Hehehe, I love this job... Thankless, yes, but who cares..............
I am a techie in an office full of "furniture movers". Wireless had done wonders for us. I could have spent a small fortune on wiring and rewiring in the past year had it not been for that sweet little box.
The open source community is not portrayed in positive light??? NAAAAAAA, just a case of shoulda, coulda, woulda, uh, didnt. They (Cisco\Broadcom) just like the rest of us, should have checked the fine print of the GPL. Only difference here is that we little guys don't have the funds to litigate the fine print. Looks to me like Linksys is the happy one. I would guess though, Cicso probably has the funds for a $65-95k settlement. Then again, the router could easily go up to say $300.00 and burn the end user...Anyone seen the price of other Cisco products????????
I work in a prison system and I see kids of these types of parents every day. They say stuff like, "my dad wouldnt let me play with the kids next door so I beat them all to death with a brick, hehe funny how that works???"
Let me get this straight...........I mail my mail to these guys so they can scan it and email it somewhere else for me. Woohoo, time and money saver!! That's kind of like mowing my neighrbors lawn so I can pay him to mow mine?????
Just imagine the clerk at the local grocery store, when the Walmart RFID tag tells the reader at the counter that you are carrying, "XXXX condoms, extra small" or a lingerie store thinks your are wearing crotch less panties. Perhaps we'll install readers at home to see what our guests are carrying...
This is one I gotta agree with. If this is a new house, for sure, go with the conduit. I aint much into crawling under the house, but I have seen this done for older home also. Like the guy said, "what's next, CAT7?" or maybe CAT7f....

How do airlines reclaim expenditures?
Ummmmm, how 'bout canceling a flight every day and still booking it?
That would be something innovative **
This problem sounds more to like Narcissism than ADD.

Is there a suck-air-out option?
Definately explains country music
Well that confirms it Ximian is definately crap.
Like uzi's and 9mm type hand guns.
So do radio stations have to play the entire CD to show the "work of art"?
Who knows maybe car makers will stop selling parts of their works of art. So if you need a head gasket or windshield, OH WELL......
