    So how about we implant them with an AI chip and give them augmented intelligence, that way they can be useful. :P

    I love the stat the 20% of the people do 80% of the work. The problem is we still need the other 80% to look busy. :P

    20 years ago I was using a 128k connection to the internet from my house and we all expected the gig fiber connections to be here in the next 10 years.

    Most people overestimate how fast technology is moving and how fast something will happen.

    Because hindsight is 20/20 and it is very hard to predict the future with accuracy.

    Well the video title "Socialism isn't cool" got demonetized and the video titles "Capitalism isn't cool" did not. lol

    So there appears to be some bias in the algorithm.

    In the last 15 years, I have never seen a company retrain their staff for new technology. They simply throw it out there, send out a memo about how great it is, and move on. They expect everyone to figure it out on their own.

  10. What is the point of the retweet account? I have seen lots of them that just take something someone posts and retweets it. Heck there is a service I use to manage multiple social network accounts and it has a plugin that allows me to set up an account that does nothing but retweet what I post. I just dont see the need for it.

  11. Na, the previous CEO's were innovators.

    The current CEO is an MBA.

    Put an MBA in charge of a company and they simply chase the next big thing instead of innovating and creating the next big thing.

    They do this because they are not innovators and creators, they are simply followers and maintainers.

    It seems to be the plight of large companies to not want to take the risk of hiring an innovator. So they look for someone who "knows how to run a business." They get what the look for, stagnation.

    Nicotine is optional in e-cigs. I know a lot of people that smoke the flavors without nicotine.

    In those instances, I would assume that e-cigs are not addictive.

    A few years ago there was a person who forged the court release paper work and faxed it over to the jail.

    They got the fax, processed it as it normally would have been processed, and the guy was released that day. They did not catch the mistake for almost a week. lol

    What store do you shop at? The ones around here tend to go along these lines.

    Tap "Start" and then tap "I dont have a store card", tap "I do not want to sign up for a store card", tap "I do not want to give money to XXX Charity", tap "produce", search through the produce screen tell you find bananas, tap "bananas", Put bananas on the scales, system gets weight and tells you to bag the bananas, place bananas in the bag and the system alerts "Extra item in bag please remove the item.", you take the bananas out of the bag and the system tells you to bag the bananas, place them back in the bag and the system alerts "Extra item in bag please remove the item.", get attendent over to tell the machine it is wrong, select "Finish and pay", tap "Use card", system instructs you to use the card reader, swipe card (sometimes multiple times for it to read), tap "Yes $xx.xx is correct", tap "I dont have a store card", tap "I do not want to sign up for a store card", tap "I do not want to give money to XXX Charity", System prints a receipt, Attendant checks your bag to make sure you did not put anything in it that you did not pay for, you go home.

    That loose change for bitcoin cash is up in the 6 figures range for me right now. Not exactly loose change. lol

    Im not passing up free money.

    I cashed out a bunch of it when Bitcoin hit $160 a coin and bought land. What remains is still a lot but not what it was.

    I keep them in my own wallet. I bought a bunch of bitcoin back when it was $0.50 a coin and have been sitting on them.
