    You clearly do not run a business. Most email comes from yahoo or hotmail accounts because people don't want to share their 'real' email with businesses on the chance that the business will sell their address.

    As a parent, I can work to counteract this, but why should I have to? So that you can put a quarter in a videogame you like?

    This is exactly what is wrong with our current society. Take some responsibility. You ask 'Why should I have to?', the answer is: Because that is your job as a parent. You decided to have children, no one forced you. In fact, there are many of us who would be jsut as pleased if fewer people had children.

    And the answer to your second question is YES. Some of us value our personal liberty and the freedom to put a quarter in any videogame we choose. I think, perhaps, it is you who should think outside your own world and realize that this whole world doesn't exist to insure that you have well-adjusted offspring.

    You all suck ass with your outdated 'mouse' technology. Trackballs are superior in every respect. Also, you can get them with as many buttons as you feel comfortable with.

    I apologize for the 'suck ass' thing but really! Does anyone actually care what someone else uses for input?

    Get at least 128MB of RAM? I think this post is at least a year out of date... It just cost me around two hundred dollars for a GB of RAM. Less than this would be a waste of time in my opinion

    There is also a plugin for .shn's for winamp...

    I wasn't implying that this was better or worse than any other lossless compression, merely that it was better than any bitrate of Mp3 [a lossy compression].

    True. But, if you are going to encode at 640kbps you really aren't reaping the benefits of compression... You would be better off using .shns. After all if 50% compression is enough then lossless is really the way to go.

    His links aren't broken. You have to have been around /. for a while to understand how to use them is all. The 'lameness' filter adds spaces to long text strings to prevent spammers from making the /. pages insanely long side scrollers.
