I thought about using that scheme on bottles that had their labels peeled off. Print out a bar code of a returnable bottle, and paste it on. The possibilities are endless!
First off, as a registered slashdot user I can control the quality of discussion presented to me by setting the minimum score property in my preference. I don't need the story posters or the editors to control that for me.
Even with slashdot's "quality control" feature, higher quality discussion is higher quality discussion. Bruce wants 20 high quality posts, not 5.

NPR has had pretty much the same policy since June of 2001.
The linking form is relatively new, however.
One of the absurd things about the policy is that it is easily circumvented by just posting the link without a tag, like this:
Temoa -...Phrase match is kinda cool, because you get to put back in your common words that Google disallows ("and", "the", etc).
Actually, if you just put a "+" in front of the common word you want to include, google obliges.
Teoma also needs the "+".
As for the coolness of phrase match, it's the same as putting search terms in quotes with google. The placement of the checkbox leaves much to be desired. It should be immediately after the text box in the Tab order. The user shouldn't have to tab over several times to tick the check box.
Every line of text on the main page is in italics now.
What about ethernet?

I have noticed Wikipedia getting in on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceciliantas/
What part?
Also, People listening to any type of headphones are targets because they can't hear the mugger if they are attacked from behind.
It actually wouldn't be a bad idea to have a shredder that prints nonsense over the page as it is shredding.
So, 16% of all email is pork? Tasty!
One way to save some money is to play foosball.
