I agree, one simple thing I do is send these articles to all my friends and family who don't really pay attention to this stuff. Most of them already feel our administration is sketchy, why not really show them. The more people you tell and educate on the matter, the better off we'll all be.

Also, if you feel extra ambitious contact you senators and representatives and let them know how you feel.

Ok, So I guess the whole comparison thing is out now.

Look it, Moore is not perfect. I can understand people not agreeing with everything the guy has to say.

The truth hurts. When you put the truth so blatently in someones face and they pethiticaly devert the truth by repeating something unrelated just to save face isn't Moore's fault. I'm personaly glad this guy is out there doing what he's doing. NO ONE ELSE IS. This man is doing more good and cares deeply about this country then most people. With the Dick Clark senario he simply pointing out how things relate, and how one thing can effect so many (ripples in a pond). That person you quoted left out something very important that was a major factor in that senario and the only way your going to know is to watch the damn movie for yourself. I'd rather form my own opinions of the movie than to constantly rely on what other people have to say. So watch it already.

So explain to me how someone can be intellectually honest as you claim, yet quote raw murder numbers without accounting for dramatic differences in population? Answer: emotional manipulation. It has a bigger emotional impact to compare 11,000 to 165.

So Moore earlier compared why Americans have a higher murder rate than Europe. But then that wasn't entirely fair becuause its against the law to own a gun in Europe. So He compared a small town in Canda to a larger city in the U.S. which He admited that wasn't fair either. So he moved to the city of Tronto which was about the same size as the city he was comparing in the U.S. which was Detroit. Both of the cities have about 4 million people. The difference in gun related murder is now blazingly obvious. If you had watched the whole movie you would now about the part I'm talking about.

Now sure take the ratio of population (both countires) and the ratio of murders (both countries) and do the math. I'll bet you anything the U.S. has way more gun related murders than canada. Now I wasn't writing down the stats when I was watching the movie, but that sounds like a good idea and that's something I'll do when I rent it.

Anyways, were probably not going to come to any agreement anytime soon. But I still think you should see if for yourself.

The both take facts out of context and shine them in the worst light possible while completely ignoring any facts that don't fit their twisted world view.

This is an out right lie. Watch "Bowling for Columbine" for his quest to find out why American's murder rate is so much higher than any other country. He provides you a lot of information and leaves it up for you to decide at the end. It dosn't matter what side of the fence your on, as he also gets in the face of the Liberal creator of the fox show COPS. In this movie Moore takes in everything into account. He looks into every nook an cranny hoping to find an answer. He doesn't ignore anything like you assume.

What's wrong with puting a real face to the statistics? Any one can look at the numbers, but to see it in the lives of real people is something you don't normaly see. It can and will give you a better grasp as to what's actualy going on.

Your handle is "Reality Master", yet you say Moore's evil without even seeing what this man actually does for a living. What kind of reality is that? If you had actually seen one of his documentaries I'd give you a lot more credit.
