well, you have to understand where they are coming from. they have to be repressive in schools because that's what school is all about: getting you in a building to 'learn' and basically become a better person for it.
they have to have control over the people in the school to accomplish their goals of structuring the environment in the school, and anything that detracts from the percieved goal of the syllabus in classes is undesirable.
now, i don't like it, but i accept it, even if it SHOULD be changed
this says that they're dropping the springboard modules completely. I say goodbye to them happily
My Visor Neo is a great device, but with the paltry choices avaliable for modules (tiger woods golf and a crappy dictionary among them) it never seemed to me like the expansions avaliable really justified the physical space used up by the slot in the first place
i imagine that it will be veeeery dark (so mom can't see the glow off the screen)
what the logo will look like now....

it's nice to see the IBM ad on the page about this topic...
Slashdot! When you need a nice shot of DB2 in the morning!

:)
so you might see it running on a radeon too
You want pictures from QuakeCon? I'm there right now and updating my site as it goes on... http://www.shrocks.com/qc2k2

put any American in the shoes of a polit. and you will come up with the same type of person.
"ooh, i can do anything and basically get protected because i am in the House? Come over here and sit on my lap then, intern!"
people just abuse power, it's a fact of life

my input/output operators occasionally ;)
looks like being slashdotted didn't RUBBER right (the server)
:)
...nobody appreciates good puns these days
i'm testing that theory right NOW!
